Slot Design
11 Champions online slot has the standard 5×3 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 95.93% and its variance is set to HIGH.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 50.00$, making this slot perfect for the majority of players out there.
Gameburger Studios have always had a great layout for a bet menu, allowing players to select the desired wager by just a click of a button.
The gameboard allows us to select Quick Spins on the bottom right, which is the rabbit icon, Autoplay button and a mute sound button on the bottom left.
Most of these options are also available from the cogwheel nested in the bottom left menu, where music, and sound can be turned off separately.
What separates this slot’s gameboard is the action reel that’s on the top of the normal 5×3 and spins horizontally.
Landing something within the goal post, will grant the player various perks, which will be explained in the slot features section.
Slot Features
- Champion: The on-screen footballer is known as the Champion and can move to different symbols, as determined by the Action Reel.
When you land different perks on the Action Reel like pass or dribble, the champion moves around and leaves behind a frame that during Blazing Wild Streak will turn wild, the more the better.
From the shirt icon on the bottom left, next to the 20 lines text, one can change the color of the player shirt, which is purely a cosmetic thing and does not affect the gameplay.
We swapped here for dark red shirts, which also changed the color of the shirts of the crowd on the back.
- Action Reel: The Action Reel is placed above the interface and moves horizontally. It can land with a Blank (nothing happens), Dribble (Champions moves to the side), Pass (Champion moves at random), or Shoot (Blazing Wild Streak is triggered).
We managed to land the shoot symbol here with a x2 multiplier which grants us the Blazing Wild Streak feature and the prizes will be multiplier by 2.
- Blazing Wild Streak: Any framed symbols transform as wilds with the ability to substitute. A multiplier is then applied from the Shoot symbol and a re-spin occurs. The multiplier can be anywhere from 1x to 11x.
All of the six frames we had turned into wilds and then the 2x multiplier made the total payout 20x, which is a great prize for a single respin. After the feature the frames are reset back to one, in the bottom center of the slot.
- Jackpot Bonus: A jackpot game is launched with three bonus symbols land on the reels. The feature starts with 12 cards that are placed facing down and represent one of the 4 jackpots you see on the left side of the slot.
Whenever you reveal a card, the corresponding color gets transferred next to the jackpot.
When 3 identical cards have been revealed the corresponding jackpot is awarded. In our second picture, we are one reveal away from hitting a 3rd mini player and getting the mini jackpot. However our next 2 reveals were red players for the grand jackpot. Unfortunately we did reveal a 3rd green player and we only received the Mini jackpot.
Verdict
11 Champions turned out to be a really fun slot, and pleasantly surprised us, as usually slots released before sport events are nothing more than basic games with a sport theme.
However this one really made us enjoy it, especially with the horizontal reel that’s always active and sets up frames than will be filled later on with Wilds on a respin with a multiplier of up to 11x.
While this is a highly volatile slot and it lacks traditional free spins, the Action Reel, combined with the Blazing Wild Streak, the Jackpot game and the max prize of up to 5,000x made it quite fun and enjoyable.
