This is a sequel to the popular 3 Lucky Rainbows Slot, but now mixed with the Action Boost feature for a max prize of 5,000x the bet.

3 Lucky Rainbows Action Boost Max has a slightly bigger 5×4 gameboard with 5 reels, 4 rows and 20 fixed paylines.

During one of the features, the board becomes 5×6 and the paylines grow to 40 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.49%, the volatility has been set to HIGH and the hit rate is 33.58%.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 50.00$, with the max prize being capped at 5,000x.

The bet menu is lovely, as it’s exactly what we enjoy, being able to select our wager with a single click which has become the new standard.

The settings menu offers only one option and that is to be able to spin with the spacebar as a hotkey.

We like the sound options as they give us choice in terms of what we’d like to mute, but in addition they allow us to adjust our volume, which is ideal and every slot should have these.

The autoplay menu is the only place where you can select the Quick Spins on the bottom, and you don’t have to start the autoplay for the settings to be saved.

Overall the slot looks very similar to the original one, with some improvements like the bet menu, and the audio volume adjusters in addition to the extra features.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The wilds in this slot are the rainbow hats symbols, which substitute for all symbols but bonus symbols.

They appear quite often during base gameplay and will contribute to some decent winnings, as on the screenshot above. The main goal here is however is to trigger the Action Boost Max Free spins.

• Action Boost Max Free Spins: The free spins are either triggered by the pick feature or during base game whenever a bonus symbol lands on the gameboard. A total 10 free spins are awarded regardless of which feature or features is active.

When the green coin triggers the green pot free spins, the gameboard becomes 5×6 with 40 fixed paylines, where landing a Wild on the reel will expand it on the whole reel. Because the slot offers combo triggers, the features can be 1, 2 or 3 total. We have the jackpot feature active above as well which is the red pot and we managed to collect 2 MINI 5x, and 1 Minor 10x jackpots.

Our total winnings were 50.6x mostly from the 3 collected jackpots. The remaining jackpots are Major 25x, Maxi 2,500x and MEGA 5,000x. These require collecting 5, 6 and 7 corresponding symbols respectively.

Triggering the spins with the purple symbol and purple pot will award a random multiplier from 2x, but can be upgrade to 3x and 5x. Needless to say, if all 3 features are activated the potential winnings are the highest.

• Pick Feature: Every time a player lands a bonus symbol, they have a chance to trigger the pick feature.

Unlike other pick features where it’s mostly matching 3 identical symbols, to award a jackpot, this one triggers prize money, free spins with different features activated and jackpots. Once you find the 3 “X” symbols the feature is over, and cash prizes and jackpots are immediately awarded.

Verdict

3 Lucky Rainbows Action Boost Max is the sequel to 3 Lucky Rainbows which is scheduled for an official release in February, but only now Yukon Gold Casino players can enjoy it before Christmas 2024.

The slot offers better features, more winning potential, and an additional way to trigger free spins and grab jackpots.

The volatility has been increased to HIGH, while the max winnings have been kept at same level of 5,000x the bet.

Overall we liked the rate of which features were triggering, and we did not notice any “dry” periods which made the gameplay that much more enjoyable.

This slot will most likely be one of the most popular in December 2024, especially when it’s release here exclusively and won’t be around until February of 2025.
