Slot Design

Alice in WildLand online slot, is a 2 reel array game where the gameboard is two sets of 5×3, consisting of 5 reels, 3 rows and a total of 40 fixed paylines.

The game’s RTP is 96.33% and its variance is set to MEDIUM-HIGH.

The game’s minimum bet is 0.20$ and the maximum bet is 30.00$, making the slot perfect for a big range of players, but mostly those who are looking for a low wagering slot.

One thing that’s missing is the MAX BET button, and you have to click a total of 65 times, to go from the minimum bet per spin to the maximum bet per spin, which is excessive and totally unnecessary.

A little trick we found for this is to open up the autoplay menu, and set the slider to the bet you wish to use and then exit the menu without turning on autoplay.

Once you have clicked on the arrow above the spin button you would see a quick spin option and an autospin option.

Choose the autospin option and you would see the following menu on your screen, on which you would be able to select your bet.

You DO NOT have to click on the Start Autoplay button, and can simply close the menu from the ‘X’ on the top left and your bet will be changed.

The game has decent graphics, with symbols that you could expect from the story of Alice in Wonderland like Alice itself, the white rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the caterpillar and more.

The menus are well done, easy to follow and navigate around which is something to be expected from a game developed by SpinPlay.

Slot Features

  • Copycat Wild: As mentioned above, the game is played on two set of reels. If an entire reel of either set is filled with Wilds, it copies itself to the corresponding reel of the other set. If the Wild covers a reel where there’s a Bonus symbol, the Wild reel will act as both Wild and Bonus.

We managed to get an entire reels on set 1 and it copied itself on set 2, granting us winnings of 67.50$.

  • Cheshire Multipliers: If the same reels on the two sets get filled by Wilds (ex. reel 1 on set 1 and 2), a Cheshire Multiplier is granted. The values of the multiplier can be: 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x and 10x. A Cheshire Multiplier can also be awarded randomly on any spin. All of the multiplier are added together and then multiply the win. This is where the prize of up to 12,000x the bet comes from.

An animation shows up on the left and you would see multiplier numbers shuffle until one is selected. During our test we managed to get randomly 2x and 3x.

  • Free Spins: Landing 3,4 ,5 or 6 bonus symbols award 10, 15, 25 or 50 free spins respectively. During this feature, Wild stacks nudge to fill the reel. This naturally triggers the Copycat Wild feature as well and if it’s on the same reel of both sets, the Cheshire Multiplier feature triggers as well. The free spins can be retriggered.

We managed to trigger the minimum of 10 free spins during our test. We managed to get 3 reels filled with wilds top and bottom which awarded a 10x multiplier as well.

This was awarded on a 30.00$ bet per spin or a total of 76x payout on that one single spin. Our total winnings in 10 spins were 93x and we did not manage to retrigger any more spins.

Verdict

Alice in WildLand in a decent attempt by SpinPlay Games to deliver an online slot with a theme that revolves around Alice in Wonderland.

The game has a good amount of free spins, two Wild features and a max prize up to 12,000x the bet.

We’d definitely if this online slot a shot, as it’s a medium-high volatility, has a relatively low maximum bet per spin of up to 30.00$ and offers lots of free spins up to 50, which can also be retriggered.

At max bet per spin, a player can win a total of 360,000$, which is one of the higher limits we’ve seen on a Microgaming online slot.
