All About the Bass 2: Froggy Style is an online slot, developed by Crazy Tooth Studio, powered by Apricot online casinos, scheduled to be released on December 8th, 2025.

This is the sequel to the original All About the Bass, a fishing slot, that came out on April 4th 2024, with a max prize at around 9,000x.

Now the new and improved one comes with a better 14,744x max prize, and a new Froggy feature that adds multipliers and wilds.

Though the slot is more than a month away from an official release, Yukon Gold Casino, Canada’s top online casino has it in their library exclusively.

Slot Design

All About the Bass 2: Froggy Style has the standard 5×3 gameboard with 5 reels, 3 rows and 21 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.09%, the volatility is set to HIGH and the hit rate is 24.82%.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.25$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 20.00$, with the max prize being capped at 14,744x.

The bet menu is perfect, with all of the available betting options being in the menu, so the player can select their desired wager with a single click.

The setting menu however is quite lacking, as it only has one volume option with a slider. While that’s great, dividing the sound options to background sounds and music is ideal as we mostly want to stop the music but keep the sounds. The quick spins option could have been here, but it’s actually only on the gameboard.

The UI looks pretty similar to the original slot, with the minor difference of the frog row which is above the gameboard itself.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The Wilds in this game are the W symbols, but there are also Wilds with 2x multiplier which are the fish with 2x and 3x multiplier which are the fish with 3x. They substitute for all symbols but bonus symbols.

The normal wilds show up quite often, but the multiplier ones have a higher payout potential.

• All About the Bass Feature: This feature triggers when the player lands a boat symbol and a hook symbol directly below the boat.

The fish below is hooked and the prize which is on the fish is awarded on the given spin. There are several types of fish: Small 4x – 10x, Medium 10x – 40x, Large 47x – 91x, Mega 160x – 960x and Special fish with Instant Bonus or multipliers that will boost another fish prize.

• Froggy Style Feature: This feature is randomly triggered on any spin by the bug symbols. If triggered a featured frog is selected and the landed bug symbol is transformed to that featured frog.

The featured frog symbols can be wilds, wilds with multipliers or just multipliers of the current cash prizes. During our testing we rarely triggered this feature and whenever we did the prizes were as high as we expected.

• Crocodile Feature: This feature can trigger randomly during any spin. The crocodile will go from left to right, scare some of the fish on the bottom, and then come from the right to catch whatever fish is left.

Most of the time the fish with 10x-30x prize is left at least during our testing so we were quite pleased with these payouts.

• All About The Bonus Feature: Landing 3 bonus symbols triggers this feature. A total of 5 bonus spins are awarded and the board only lands special symbols: reel, row, retrigger, additional spins and multipliers.

During our testing most of the time we would land at least 2 additional spins. On one of the triggers, we managed to get 4 different multipliers on a single fish, which gave us a total payout of 201.3x and that’s huge. Though a bit complicated, the future starts to make sense to more you trigger it.

• Buy Feature: If the player would want to trigger All About The Bonus feature instantly, they can purchase it for a calculated cost, or buy a Super Bonus which can only be bought.

The cost for the Instant Bonus is 50x, while the cost for the Super Bonus is 100x. The super feature starts again with 5 spins, but also with 5 special symbols on the board. While we tried both several times and took a profit, it’s not guaranteed and has to be used to caution.

Verdict

All About the Bass 2: Froggy Style is definitely an upgrade from the original, and quite complicated slot, but it wouldn’t be Crazy Tooth Studio, if the slot wasn’t.

Despite the complexity of their games, people seem to love them, as Lucky Clucks 3: Barnyard Blastoff and Fire Gnomes were wildly popular and on top of the played lists.

The slot has plenty of features, but it’s hard to follow unless you read the full information and start playing.
