Amazing Builder Dragons is an online slot, developed by SpinPlay Games, powered by Apricot online casinos, scheduled to be released on May 13th, 2026.
This is the second slot from the ‘Builder’ series, with the first one being Amazing Builder Prometheus released in January 2026.
Though the slot a few weeks away from an official release, Yukon Gold Casino has it exclusively in their library in Early Access.
Slot Design
Amazing Builder Dragons has the standard 5×3 gameboard, with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.50%, the volatility is MEDIUM-HIGH and the hit rate is 28.75%.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 50.00$, with the max winning prize capped at 5,000x.
A while ago SpinPlay Games transitioned to this bet menu and I’ve loved it ever since, as it allows me to choose my desired bet with a single click.
The settings menu has only one option in it and that’s the hotkey, but the Autoplay menu accessible via holding down the left mouse button on top of the big spin button, has a few options present like a Quick Spin option, setting up the wager via a slider and up to a 100 autoplay spins.
The volume menu is ideal, allowing you to mute either background sounds or music or both. In addition there are volume sliders, which I believe should be the new standard.
Overall decently familiar UI with nice symbols animations and music, all of which you have control over.
Slot Features
- Wilds: The wilds in this slot are the dragon symbols which substitute for all symbols but bonus symbols.
While these offer some payouts, usually between 3-10x, it’s not what you’d be looking for in this slot, as everything revolves around the Amazing Builder Feature.
- Amazing Builder Feature: When one of more bonus symbols land on the reels, there’s a chance for this feature to trigger. A total of 8 spins are awarded. Once the feature triggers, the amazing builder symbols come at play.
They start adding blue frames, which get upgraded for each symbol that lands in them afterwards. The frames persist for the remainder of the feature. The dragon eggs award an extra spin. Once the frame upgrades to Golden Frame, every Amazing Builder symbol that lands there moves to another non-gold frame. The green dragon is triggered on this run, which is the Ignite Builder where a random number for frames is awarded at the very start of the spins.
The Red dragon is the Multi-Builder which can award up to 3 symbols at a time. At the end of any feature the frames will award prizes with the Golden Ones awarding the highest prizes plus Jackpots. Unfortunately there’s no exact information on the range of prizes for each frame.
While the Double perk looks like it has more winning potential, because of the 6 rows in reality, it makes the symbols too spaced out so you end up only with blue frames which offer prizes up to 1x. The two times I triggered this feature alone, I had the lowest payouts, sub 20x.
Multiple features can be active at the same time, which really boost the final payout as more frames can reach Gold. In this run we had 4 jackpots awarded plus a few decent prizes.
While this is a decent payout, the spins I had to endure with nothing happening to see a trigger were over 300.
- Pick Feature: The golden symbols that land during base game can randomly trigger this feature at any time.
The feature offers jackpot multipliers for the Mini 10x, Minor 20x and Major 100x . The multipliers can be 2x, 3x and 5x. Only one of the symbols needs to have the multiplier.
Verdict
Is Amazing Builder Dragons worth your time? I’m more leaning towards a big fat NO.
Why? Because while the slot is fun when the trigger happens, there’s nothing else in-between.
You end up seeing hundreds and hundreds of spin with nothing happening, to the point you get bored.
I’m a big fan of most SpinPlay Games slots, but this one just offer consistent entertainment like most others.
However if that’s something players don’t mind, then they can have fun during the Builder feature or the pick feature.
Both can net you some decent jackpots on top of cash prizes up to 5,000x, but again most triggers are quite spaced out.
The slot will be out in mid May, but Yukon Gold Casino has it exclusively in their library right now. I’d suggest you find something else from what they offer, as there are much better slots on the site.
