Amazing Legends is an online slot, developed by SpinPlay Games, powered by Microgaming online casinos, scheduled to be released on April 2nd 2024.

The slot continues the Amazing Link genre, but this time presenting a combination of the three gods that had their separate slot Amazing Link Poseidon, Amazing Link Zeus and Amazing Link Hades.

Once again similar features for a chance to win a max prize over 5,000x, or precisely up to 5,300x the bet.

Amazing Legends has the standard 5×3 gameboard, with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.49%, the volatility is set to HIGH, and the hit rate is set to 34.03%.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 50.00$, a betting range which SpinPlay Games has used forever.

The bet menu is perhaps the biggest change and the most pleasant surprise from SpinPlay Games, where now we have a one click wager, and no more clicking up and down.

Whether this change was because of feedback or because the studio finally decided that it’s time for one click bet, makes no difference, we are just happy they finally transitioned to the perfect bet menu.

With that in mind, the quick play button and the auto play buttons disappeared and can be accessed by holding the left click on the spin button.

This gives the slot a more aesthetically pleasant view, with the hope that everyone reads the message below the spin button that you have to hold it to access this menu. You can simply select the quickplay option, and then close the menu, if autoplay is something you do not wish to use.

So in terms of UI we have a few major changes in a positive direction, while the quality of the symbols and animations remains the same, very high and very well polished as usual.

Our only remark would be the sound and music being bundled up, so there’s only one button to mute the game. Occasionally those who dislike the music would like to turn it off, but keep the sounds of the game, and at the moment this is not possible to do.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The wilds in this game can substitute for all symbols but prize and bonus symbols. During base game you would see this symbol quite often.

During our testing the wilds showed up very often, and occasionally helped completing several medium size wins, but nothing amazing.

• Amazing Legends Free Spins: This feature can be randomly triggered by landing one of the God’s symbols. And this is where the confusion comes in. This is essentially a Link&Win feature, just like in all of the previous slots from the Amazing Link genre, but it has been called Free Spins here. The feature still behaves as Link&Win, where you start with 3 respins, and landing a new prize symbol locks it in place and resets the respins.

If the feature is triggered with Poseidon, there would be a prize boost symbol, which would randomly choose a value and add it to each symbol on the board and then become that symbol as well. This can be one of the 3 jackpots on the left as well.

If the feature is triggered via the Zeus symbol, the feature comes with a Collect-All symbol which will collect all existing prizes on the board when it lands. In our screen we had a total of 14.25x when that happened. We also managed to land 2 jackpots which were Mini 10x, and Minor 20x. The other two are Major 100x, which can also land as a prize and Mega 5,000x, which can only be won if all 15 positions are filled.

If the feature is triggered by the Hades symbol, it will come with a multiplier symbol, which when it lands would multiply all current prizes with a multiplier between 2x – 3x and this is applied individually for each symbol. From what we saw during our testing, jackpot symbols do not get multiplied.

It’s possible for two or three different symbols to trigger the feature, which would essentially give you the perks of each combined. In this screen, we triggered the extra prizes from Poseidon, and the extra multipliers from Hades.

On this trigger we had the collect-all from Zeus, and the extra prizes from Poseidon. The trigger rate for the Amazing Legends feature is great and you should see it at least once every perhaps fifty to a hundred spins.

Verdict

Amazing Legends is the next slot from the Amazing Links genre that combines 3 of the gods from the previous games, Poseidon, Zeus and Hades.

The slot comes with some major UI improvements and with the same stunning animations and symbol quality.

One thing that’s still missing is an option to turn off the music alone, without muting the whole game.

We liked the slot, we loved the trigger rate of the Amazing Legend feature, which for some odd reason was called Free Spins here.

It’s essentially a Link&Win feature, it behaves like Link&Win feature, it has been a Link&Win feature in all of the previous slots, we are unsure why the studio has decided to call it Free Spins all the sudden.

Nevertheless, a wonderful trigger rate, decent prizes, especially when a combination of several features lands.

Expect this slot to appear on April 2nd 2024, on Yukon Gold Casino, though there’s a chance to drop earlier and it would be under the Early Releases section.
