Just like the previous slots from the Ammit series, the max win on this one is 6,000x with a max bet up to 40.00$.
While the slot is a few weeks away from an official release, Yukon Gold Casino, Canada’s top online casino has it exclusively in their library.
Slot Design
Ammit Hellfire has the standard 5×3 gameboard, with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.00%, the volatility has been set to HIGH and the hit rate is 32.78%.
The minimum bet starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 40.00$, with the max prize capped at 6,000x.
The studio had a great bet menu in the previous slots, but for some reasons decided to go back to this, which is disappointing as we love the one click menus. Since a lot of studios go towards a single click wagering, it’s strange that Wishbone Games decided to sort of “downgrade” it.
The settings menu is identical, offering sound options for both background sounds and music, as well as the quick spins option. In addition, there’s a volume slider on the bottom left of the gameboard.
One of the UI issues we found is that the big STOP button on the spin become active while Quick Spins are OFF, but it doesn’t do anything and you actually have to click on the smaller stop symbol with the autoplay spin number. Having 2 stop buttons on the UI next to each other doesn’t seem the most intuitive thing.
Overall the UI is decent, but we do have a few complains about some of the menus and some of the buttons.
Slot Features
- Wilds: The wilds in this slot substitute for all symbols but scatter, collect and prize symbols.
When Wilds land, Ammit appears to be collecting occasionally one of them and the gems behind her fill up. At some point the slot randomly triggers the Mystery Prize feature and the pack of gems behind Ammit empties.
- Collect Feature: During base game, cash symbols land which randomly get a value if a collect symbol lands.
Depending on the color of the symbol, the tier is different. Blue symbols are tier 1 with low paying prizes, the purple one is tier 2 with mid tier prizes and the red symbol is tier 3 with high paying prizes.
- Mystery Prize Feature: This feature triggers randomly and awards a random prize from the ones the player sees on top of the board.
There’s nothing you have to do, you just watch the animation select a random symbol. This could have been quicker as it takes some time for this animation to be complete. In fact in the beginning we thought there was something we had to do or click somewhere for it to end.
- Bonus Feature: Whenever 2 scatters land on reel 2 and 3 the multiplier for the bonus feature increases up to a maximum of 10x. Whenever 3 scatters land, the feature starts.
The multiplier is applied to RANDOM prizes which is a bit disappointing having waited for so long for this feature to trigger. If all positions are filled the final payout is multiplied x2. Once the feature has ended the multiplier resets to a random value between 1x and 4x. This is essentially a Link&Win feature, starting with 3 respins, and whenever a symbol lands on the board its locked and the spins reset back to 3.
Verdict
Is Ammit Hellfire worth your time? Nope not really as the slot did not offer anything rewarding during our testing.
The occasional collect features and bonus features were too random, filled with another randomness of what kind of a prize you are going it get.
If we are waiting for a feature to trigger, at least show us what we are getting right away, instead of waiting again for a random selection of a prize which may or may not be decent.
Given how many new slots come to Yukon Gold Casino‘s library per month, there are much better slots currently that are actually worth your time.
