The theme of the slot is mining, where players are sent underground to spin the reels for a max prize up to 5,000x the bet.

Anvil & Ore online slot, is almost identical to the previous released slot from Alchemy Gaming, Amazon Lost Gold Slot, where the gameboard is 5×5, with 5 reels, 5 rows and 3125 paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.26% and its variance is set to HIGH.

Just like the previously released slot, the minimum bet starts from 0.30$, while the maximum bet reaches 42.00$, making the slot ideal for a wide range of players.

The bet menu has two tabs, one of it allows you to change the bet via + and – buttons, while the Quick Bet tab, has preset bets from which you can choose, with minimum and maximum bets included.

The settings menu is located at the top right, and is nested under the cogwheel tab, with two options only available, quick spins and sounds.

The music and sound are bundled up, so you can’t turn them off separately, which is a feature we’d like to see on every slot.

In terms of visuals, you can easily tell this is an Alchemy Gaming slot, as the symbols and gameboard have their distinguishing graphics.

You can easily compare this slot to any of their previous releases and you would notice a lot of similarities.

Slot Features

• Rolling Reels: This is a popular feature, where the winning symbols disappear and new ones take their place, allowing players to get consecutive wins on a single spin.

When the rolling reel occurs, there would be an animation, where all symbols will turn orange, and then fall off the gameboard and new one from the top row will drop down. This feature occurs very often so you will see almost on every single spin.

• Echo Roll: After a win, this feature can randomly trigger, awarding an additional guaranteed win. The feature will fill the winning positions with high, low or wild symbols.

This feature triggers once in a while, perhaps every 20 to 30 spins, so player can expect to see it often enough.

• Upsizer: This feature determines how many free spins a player will get when they trigger free spins, and what kind of a multiplier they will be the max. This feature improves with the more coins you land during base game. Landing 3 or more scatters will award 1 Upsize Max coin, which is located on the right side of the gameboard. Collected 5/5 coins will trigger free spins at maximum upsize.

This is our upsize after the first free spin trigger. We are on the 3rd level which will give us 8 free spins next time, and we will have a max multiplier of 10x.

• Upsizer Buy Option: Once the free spins are triggered, you will have an option to buy a better Upsizer, for a calculated price.

We did not upgrade anything, and proceeded with the 6 free spins and 10x max multiplier.

• Free Spins: When you trigger this feature, it will award free spins based on your Upsizer level. Additional scatters will award 50 upsizer coins.

During free spins, each scatter than you land is an additional free spin and this is why we got 8 total, instead of 6. The rolling reels feature increases the multiplier permanently and it can be seen on the top of the gameboard. We only managed to get to 3x and our total win was around 6x payout. Once the feature ends an Upsizer Wheel shows up.

The wheel will give you Upsizer coins which will boost your Upsizer level for the next free spins trigger. We landed only 30, which got us to level 3 which is 8 free spins and 10x max multiplier.

• Buy Bonus: If you do not wish to wait to trigger free spins, you can buy either a random Upsizer, or max level Upsizer free spins. The random cost is a 100x, which the max level one is calculated depending on your current Upsizer level.

• Wilds: The wild in this slot is the W symbol, which substitutes for all symbols but scatters.

This symbol lands almost all of the time, so players will see it almost on all spins.

Verdict

Anvil & Ore is another decent slot, brought to us by Alchemy Gaming, available at Microgaming online casinos.

Once again, packed with features, upgrade options, bonus wheels, bonus buys, free spins with different level, multiplier trails and more, this slot offers so many choices and a max win of up to 5,000x the bet.
