The game’s theme is categorized as ‘Bank Vault’ as the name of the slot suggests, but it’s not hard to guess looking at the luxurious symbols, like diamonds, gold jewelry and stacks of cash.
Slot Design
Bank Vault has the standard 5×3 gameboard consisting of, 5 reels and 3 rows, with 25 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.33%, the volatility is set to MEDIUM and the hit rate is 41.97%
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 25.00$, with the max prize being capped at 10,000x.
Back in 2022, SpinPlay Games did not use a bet menu but had the chip icon that gave you the opportunity to adjust your bet with the plus and minus buttons. Since 2024, all slots from the studio offer a bet menu, where the player can select their desired wager with a single click.
The bottom right menu has no settings options or anything of that sort, but it does have a mute button, which in all 2024 slots became a full menu with volume adjusters.
The Autoplay menu and the Quick Spin options are nested in the plus arrow above the spin button on the right, which in future slots is something that can be accessed by just holding down the left button.
Overall the UI looks decent with a catchy tune, nice clean symbols and flashy animations.
Slot Features
- Wilds: The Wilds in this slot substitute for all symbols but bonus symbols and diamond dollar symbols.
During base game you will see this symbol quite often, and it will contribute to some minor winnings in the range of 0.5x to 4x, from what we saw.
- Diamond Dollar: Three or more diamond symbols on the gameboard award cash prizes. These cash prizes scale with the triggering bet starting from 1x for 3 symbols up to 2,500x for 9 symbols. This is essentially an Epic Strike feature that you might have seen in other Apricot slots.
During our testing, we saw 3, 4 and 5 symbols quite often, 6 and 7 very rarely and we did not see 8 or 9 at all which means they will show up perhaps once every a few thousand spins.
- Cash Wheel: Bonus symbols appear on reels 1, 3 and 5. Getting 3 bonus symbols triggers this feature. The wheel awards Cash Catch feature, Free Spins or a Diamond Dollar prize. The wheel can also award multipliers from 2x to 4x, which applies to the Cash Catch feature, Free Spins or Diamond Dollar prize.
During this trigger we managed to get Cash Catch with a 2x multiplier, which was the minimum but was still decent.
- Cash Catch: During this feature, grab the flying cash to win prizes. The number of prizes that can be selected before the feature ends is randomly generated. All wins will be multiplied by the triggering wheel multiplier.
Our tip is to position the mouse near the middle of the screen, start clicking and moving it slightly up and down. Our total payout was 31x, which could have been even more if we had landed a bigger multiplier.
- Free Spins: If you get this feature on the Cash Wheel you are rewarded with anywhere from 6 to 30 free spins. All winnings are multiplies by the triggering wheel multiplier. This feature cannot be retriggered.
The prizes on the left side are also multiplied by the 2x multiplier so the max win became 5,000x. At the max multiplier of 4x, it would become 10,000x which is the max win for the slot as well. Overall our payout here was around 40x, but it took us more than 400 spins to land this feature, which felt exhausting.
Verdict
Bank Vault is a legit slot with tons of features, a max prize up to 10,000x and up to 30 free spins with up to 4x multiplier.
Our only problem with the slot is that everything is triggered via the bonus wheel, and then you would need to land the feature that you are waiting for.
This sometimes was frustrating as we kept landing the same feature over and over, while we were waiting for some free spins.
Overall a decent slot with decent payouts, but be sure to checkout the newest slots for this studio on Yukon Gold Casino as they are more polished and offer some decent quality of life.
