This is the second X UP slot released by this studio with the previous one being Chronicles of Olympus X UP which was a massive success.

Bass Cash X UP has a slightly bigger 5×4 gameboard with 5 reels, 4 rows and 1024 payways.

The slot’s RTP is 96.20%, the volatility is set to VERY HIGH and the hit rate is 20.97%.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 20.00$, with the maximum prize hitting 15,000x the bet.

The betting menu has two modes, quick bet and advanced, and while the quick bet one allows you to choose from preselected bets, the options are not many so you’d have to go for the advanced one which requires adjusting the wager with clicking.

Our suggestion is to drop the advanced menu, make one menu which simply offers all bets like in the Quick Bet menu, so the player can select a wage with one simple click.

The settings menu does not offer much, only quick spins and sound on/off option which we would like to see to transform into music on/off and background sounds on/off.

Overall the slot has great graphics, an animated underwater background and great music for a fishing slot.

Slot Features

• Cash Collect: This is the bread and butter of this slot. Land a collect symbol and fish cash symbols on a single spin and collect all of the prizes on the board. The prizes vary from 0.2x to 10x and can also be one of the 4 jackpots: Mini 15x; Minor 50x; Major 250x and Mega 1,000x.

During this feature if you have activated an X UP multiplier for base game, the prizes will be multiplied by it. The yellow scatter allows the multiplier to be active in base game, two red scatters increase the value of that multiplier. Two blue scatters activate the 12x multiplier forever which will be available in free spins. While the yellow X UP has to land with cash prizes in base game in order for the multiplier to be active, that’s not the case in free spins.

• X UP Feature: The X UP feature allows for active multipliers that apply to all jackpots and cash prizes during free spins. In addition An yellow X UP scatter will trigger the multipliers in base game as well.

Whenever the multiplier is activated a splash screen will show up over the gameboard to let you know.

This permanently upgrades one of the multiplier levels starting from the top. Our 10x multiplier is now permanently 12x.

• Free Spins: Landing 3 red scatters triggers the 8 free spins. During the free spins all cash prizes that are collected by the collect feature and jackpots will be multiplied by the active X UP multiplier. Two red scatters bring up the multiplier with 1x and add 2 extra spins. Before the spins start you will get the Upsize feature.

The upsizer allows you to pay for a higher multiplier that what you already have. The cost is anywhere from roughly 4x to 34x.

Overall in 8 free spins we managed to get the multiplier only to 2x, and didn’t get any jackpots or extra free spins so our total payout was roughly 20x. One our next trigger however we managed to get a 102x.

• Bass Cash Bonus: When you land a special bonus symbol it will be saved on top of the gameboard.

Once you have an yellow dot above each reel the Bass Cash Bonus feature will trigger.

During this feature you will have a collect symbol extended along reel 1 and the rest of the reels will land cash prizes and trophy symbols. The color of each trophy fish will match one of the jackpots. Collect a total of 3 to win the corresponding jackpot. We had 2 on MEGA, 2 on MINOR and 2 on MINI but ended up winning only the MINI one.

• Buy Feature: The buy feature allows you to purchase 8 free spins with a 15x multiplier for a total cost of 150x.

While the 15x multiplier is huge, you also need to consistently land the collect symbol, which in our case was hit or miss and that’s because of the very high volatility of the slot.

• Wilds: The wild in this slot substitutes for all symbols but cash, collect and x up symbols.

We did not see these show up that often, or if they did, they did not contribute to our winnings that much.

Bass Cash X UP will be one of the hottest slots for August 2024 we can guarantee you that.

Alchemy Gaming have done an extremely good job in terms of adding a lot of features, and making this slot entertaining.

The collect feature in combination with the X UP feature makes up for a lot of the winnings during base game and free spins.

The huge multipliers which apply to jackpots as well is also something that can land you a huge win one a single spin.
