Slot Design
Cash Crusade Assembl’em has the standard 5×3 gameboard, with 5 reels, 3 rows and 15 fixed paylines.
The slot however contains card on top of the gameboard which contain multipliers and jackpots which will be part of the free spins when triggered.
The slot’s RTP is 96.24%, the volatility is set to HIGH, and the hit rate is 34.40%.
The minimum bet per spin starts at 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 45.00$, with the max prize being capped at 5,421x.
The bet menu is ideal, allowing players to select their desired wager with one click. There is an option on the side for bet adjustment, but seems obsolete, when this panel exists on the bottom of the slot.
The options menu however is quite underwhelming, containing only a mute option and quick spin options. We would like to see background music and sounds having separate options and perhaps even volume adjusters, like many other studious have started to introduce.
Overall the UI looks great, the animations are awesome, the symbols and cards look well done, and the music matches the theme quite well.
Slot Features
- Wilds: The Wilds in this slot are the W symbols, which substitute for all symbols but overlay tokens.
These show up quite often during base game, and have special functions during Free Spins, depending on what perk that have like Invading Wilds for example, which “invade” one of the reels next to them.
This usually awards decent payouts, around 15-25x depending on the rest of the symbols on the reels.
- Assembl’em Feature: There are several different cards that are unlocked under specific conditions, some as simple as 30 spins, some as annoying as “Wait for 1 Full Day”. Every time an overlay token lands it adds to the jackpot represented by the card or the multiplier.
The multiplier applies to the line wins, while the jackpot would be awarded when the card is triggered by collecting overlay tokens during free spins.
- Free Spins: Landing one or more overlay tokens can trigger this feature with the card as a feature. The card can be Invading Wilds, or Extra Wilds. The Extra Wilds add 2-15 extra wilds to the reels, while the Invading Wilds can land on reels 2 or 4 and invade an adjacent reel. If they land on both reels they will invade reel 3, giving you a total of 3 wild reels.
Once the multipliers are unlocked, the winning payouts become much better, and the overall payout can easily exceed 100x.
- Upsizer: Before the Free Spins start, the player is offered a choice to increase the multiplier to the maximum.
The cost however could be quite steep, and the multiplier is useless if you do not land any winning combos.
- Bonus Recharge: Once the free spins are over the player would be offered an additional spin for a cost.
Depending on the multiplier and the card, the cost differs. During our testing we found out that if it’s around 4-5x, it’s worth the gamble but if it’s close to 10x it’s not.
- Buy Feature: If the player decides that they do not wish to wait for the free spins trigger they can purchase the feature for a calculated cost.
Depending on the multipliers the cost differs, and the higher the multipliers are the higher the cost is.
Verdict
Cash Crusade Assembl’em is a great slot but with certain limitations which we did not like.
The more card you unlock the better their multipliers and jackpots get which is great, however some of the cards have weird requirements like wait for a whole day for it to be unlocked.
Others had pretty simple ones like, spin 30 times or trigger 2 free spin features, which we were fine with.
In terms of features we only have free spins here with a few twists, but that’s about it.
