Slot Design
Fishin’ Pots of Gold Gold Blitz online slot has a slightly bigger 6×4 gameboard, consisting of 6 reels, 4 rows and 4096 payways.
The slot’s RTP is 96.00% and it’s variance is set to HIGH, but if the Bonus Buy is used the RTP raises to 96.25%.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 50.00$, making this slot ideal for most players.

Simply clicking on the bet will open up a menu, that’s easily adjustable with the mouse wheel scroll and the player can select the desired bet with a single click.
The settings menu allows us to enable Quick spins, which can also be done from the gameboard by clicking on the rabbit icon, in the bottom right corner.
In addition, sound and music are on a separate channels so we can enable or disable each one individually.

- Wilds: The wild in this slot is the mushroom symbol, which can substitute for all symbols but scatter, cash, jackpot and collect symbols. The wilds can appear only on reels 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 during base game, and 2, 3 and 4 during free spins.
During free spins a random multiplier of 2x, 3x or 5x is applied whenever a wild lands.
- Bonus Choice: When the player lands at least 3 bonus symbols they will get the bonus choice menu, offering either gold blitz spins or free spins.

We managed to land 3 scatters, which gave us the choice between 8 free spins or 2 spins in Gold Blitz.
Depending on the amount of scatters triggering the feature, this choice will differ and will match the choices we have listed in the table above.
- Gold Blitz Feature: Once the bonus choice menu has been triggered a player can choose the Gold Blitz feature. At least one collect symbol is guaranteed to land during the spins, and the only symbols that can land are cash symbols, jackpot symbols and blanks.
During the 2 spins we did not manage to get a second collect symbol, and the total payout was around 20x. If a second collect symbol lands, all prizes on the screen will be collected twice, including jackpots.
- Free Spins: If the player chooses the free spins feature, whenever a wild is involved in a winning, it will randomly get a 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier. Landing 2 bonus symbols awards +5 extra spins. Landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters will award an additional 8, 12, 20 or 30 extra spins respectively.
Sadly we only managed to get 1 single wild in 35 spins and it was had a 3x multiplier. We were lucky enough to land 2 bonus symbols which is why our total free spins were 35. Our payout was roughly 100x, which would have been much better if we weren’t so unlucky to not land more wilds.
- Collect Feature: During base spin, the collect symbol can land on reel 1 or reel 6. Landing a symbol will collect all existing cash prizes on the gameboard.
Landing collect symbols on both reels will collect the cash and jackpot prizes twice, once per each symbol.
- Bonus Buy: If a player wishes to purchase the Bonus Choice menu, they can do so with 3 options: 4 scatters, 5 scatters or 6 scatter, which costs 75x, 120x or 150x respectively.

We decided to get the 7 spins in Gold Blitz just to test how rewarding it is.
We managed to get a 170x payout after spending a 150x on it. Overall because of the high volatility this will differ a lot, so take this with a grain of salt. We tried the free spins option as well, but as the time before we did not see sufficient amount of wilds landing.
Though we managed to get an 18 additional spins, we still did not break even the 150x cost.
Verdict
Fishin’ Pots of Gold Gold Blitz is a great slot which we enjoyed so very much, despite the fact that the game does not offer anything new but rather combines features from different popular slots.
The Gold Blitz feature is what we liked the most, with the alternative free spins with wild multipliers not so much as they did not feel rewarding enough.
With that being said, a player can get to a crazy amount of free spins, as the scatters can reward up to 30 additional free spins, multiple times.
Currently Fishin’ Pots of Gold Gold Blitz slot is on Yukon Gold Casino as an Early Release and has been on of the hottest and most popular slots for July 2023, continuing strong in August and definitely deserves its spot there.
