The slot is part of the Power Combo series, with the studios previous release being the Atlantis Power Combo Slot, which showed up in August 2023.

This one has an Egyptian theme, where the players will spin the reels for a chance to win up to 12,400x the bet.

Gods & Pyramids Power Combo online slot has a slightly bigger 5×4 gameboard, with 5 reels, 4 reels and 20 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.86%, the volatility is HIGH and the hit rate is set to 36.50%.

The slot’s RTP changes when you buy a feature with the percentages varying from 96.51% – 96.67%.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 20.00$, making the slot ideal for players looking for low wagering slots.

Infinity Dragon Studios have always had a decent bet menu layout, with adjusting buttons, min/max bet buttons as well as popular bet presets.

The settings menu of this slot has plenty of options ranging from, quick and turbo spins, to sound effects and music.

There are also volume options allowing you turn up or down the volume, rather than mute, which we believe are the ideal sound options.

The graphics have that comic book style graphics, which we are not real fans of but that’s a subjective view.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The wilds in this slot are the pyramids symbols, which substitute for all symbols but scatters, cash, bonus and collect symbols.

They also appear super stacked during free spins with a Wild Boost.

• Free Spins with a Wild Boost: When the blue pyramid triggers the free spins, they come with a Wild Boost. During this feature the gameboard becomes 5×6 and the paylines go up to a total of 40.

The feature starts with 5 free spins, and on each spin you a wild is added, so theoretically by the last spin, you should have plenty of wilds and if they land you get a good return. We however did not see this happen and our payout was only 4.8x. Landing a pyramid symbol adds +1 to your spins. On our second trigger we saw a total of 11 spins, a lot more wilds and a total payout of 51.4x

• Free Spins with an Instant Collect: This feature is triggered whenever the red pyramid triggers it. The collect symbol appears only on reel 1 and will cash in any cash prize that has currently landed on the spin.

There can be multiple collect symbols on reel 1 and all of the cash prizes are collected once per symbol. We triggered this one several times, and it’s really a hit or miss depending on the amount of collect symbols.

• Free Spins with Increasing Multiplier: This feature is triggered when the purple pyramid symbol triggers it. You start with 5 free spins and a 2x multiplier, and each spin increases the multiplier by 1x.

This was by far the worst feature to trigger alone, as the multiplier only gets to 6x and it multiplies random winnings which are often pretty small. This feature becomes awesome when it’s triggered in combination with the blue one for more paylines, extra spins and a lot of wilds.

• Free Spins with Combo Feature: The free spins features can be triggers in combinations as well not just alone. If you trigger a single feature, during its free spins it can land another pyramid symbol and trigger an additional feature. The instant collect feature cannot be triggered from inside the free spins.

Triggering all 3 features at the same time has the highest winning potential, and on our first trigger we landed a total of 158.5x payout.

• Buy Feature: If a player does not wish to wait for the trigger, they can buy the feature alone or in combination. The wild boost costs 34x, the instant collect costs 43x, and the multiplier costs 29.4x, understandable it matches the potential rewards. All 3 features cost 128.8x.

We bought such a trigger and our return on this was 246.5x which is a lot more than we actually expect. On the next few purchases we did not make up the initial cost, but this is because of the high volatility of the slot.

Verdict

Overall a decent Power Combo slot, which has great feature, but we just can’t stand the comic style symbols.

It makes things harder to read, and distinguish at least for us, so this one is a subjective opinion.

Overall the features alone are not that strong, excluding the instant collect one which can net some decent returns.

Nothing distinguishing from the rest of the Power Combo slots, but the Egyptian theme and the comic style symbols.
