This is an upgrade version of the very popular Gold Blitz slot, the studio’s biggest hit in the past year, which lead to the popularization of the Gold Blitz feature on many other slots.

Slot Design
Gold Blitz Extreme online slot has a bigger 6×4 than the standard gameboard, consisting of 6 reels, 4 rows and 4096 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.00%, the volatility is set to VERY HIGH, and the hit rate is 29.00%.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 50.00$, making the slot ideal for all players.
The bet menu is of the type we love, allowing players to select their desired wager with a single click, by scrolling around with their mouse scroll wheel.
The settings menu can be accessed from the cogwheel nested in the menu on the bottom left and has a few options which are not available on the gameboard itself.
The sound and music are on different channels allowing the player turn off one or the other, which we believe is a must have for any modern slot.
In terms of visuals, the slot looks like the original, but flashier with more effects and more animations all over the place.
Slot Features
- Collect Feature: Landing a collect symbol and a cash symbol on the same spin triggers this feature. Cash symbols appear on all reels during base game and gold blitz. Collect symbols appear on reels 1 and 6. Each collect symbols award all landed cash symbols.
This feature triggers occasionally, and during our testing we had received several 5x-15x prizes from it.
- Respin Feature: If a collect symbol lands on reels 1 and 6 without any cash symbols, a respin triggers. Reels 1 and 6 lock while 2, 3 4 and 5 respin. One or more cash symbols are guaranteed to land.
This feature triggers rarely due to the fact that in base game you rarely land 2 collect symbols at the same time.
- Rising Rewards: Landing cash symbols without the collect symbol, will accumulate tokens in base game. At least one jackpot is guaranteed to grow by 1x whenever tokens are accumulated per spin. The amount of jackpots increased depends on the amount of tokens collected.

Accumulating tokens grants a chance to trigger the jackpot feature in base game. Cash prizes and jackpots can be awarded in the jackpot feature and at least one jackpot is awarded during the feature. The jackpots are: MINI 5x-25x, MINOR 10x-50x, MAJOR 100x-250x and MEGA 1,000x-2,500x. Once the jackpot is awarded it resets to its base value.
During the jackpot feature you appear to be in a spaceship flying around collecting coins, one of which would be a jackpot. In our trigger, this was the minor jackpot, and our total payout was 33.2x
- Bonus Multiplier: The bonus multiplier is displayed on the bonus meter and it can increase during base game. The multiplier applies to every line win in free spins and gold blitz feature. The maximum bonus multiplier that can be accumulated during base game is 5x and it will reset once a feature is complete. When resetting it can randomly increase by 0.5x-1x.
Landing 2 scatter symbols will make the bonus meter go up and this happens often enough for the meter to hit the maximum of 5x.
- Wilds: Wild symbols in this slot substitute for all symbols, but cash symbols, scatters and collect symbols. During base game they can show up on reels 2-6, while in free spins they will show up on reels 2-4,
- Free Spins: Whenever you land 3 or more scatters you have the option to choose either free spins or gold blitz feature. Landin 3,4,5 or 6 scatters will grant you 8, 12, 20 or 30 free spins respectively.
During the free spins, landing 2 bonus symbols will award 5 extra spins, and a wild with a random 2x,3x or 5x multiplier can land as well. Our overall payout on a 2.5x multiplier was 103x.
- Gold Blitz: If a player does not want free spins they can choose the gold blitz feature. Landing 3,4,5 or 6 scatters awards 2, 3, 5 or 7 spins on gold blitz respectively. During this feature at least one collect symbol is guaranteed.
During the Gold Blitz spins, it’s not uncommon to see 2 collect symbols and some of those may have a +1 extra spin as well.
- Bonus Buy: If you do not wish to wait to trigger the bonus features, you can simply purchase them for a calculated cost. The cost for 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters are 30x, 50x, 80x and 120x respectively.
Verdict
We believe Fortune Factory Studios have done a great job, bringing a solid upgrade to their original Gold Blitz slot.
This one has more features, a lot of interesting perks like multipliers and a jackpot feature with some solid animations.
The only thing we didn’t like is the flashiness of the slot, it was too much especially on the respin feature where from the motion blur you can barely see anything.
Other than that it’s a solid slot that we are anticipating and it will be in Yukon Gold Casino on December 20th 2023.
