This is the second slot of the Hyper Frames series released by the studio, after Hyper Frames Zeus, which came out in August 2025.
Though the game is more than a month away from an official release, Yukon Gold Casino has it exclusively in their early access section of the slot library.
Slot Design
Hyper Frames Poseidon has the standard 5×3 gameboard with 5 reels, 3 rows and 243 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.00%, the volatility is set to MEDIUM and the hit rate is 34.86%.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 40.00$, with the max win capped at 5,500x.
Wonderful bet menu, offering all possible wagering choices, where the player can select whatever they like with a single click.
While the settings menu may not look like much, it has everything we can ask for, which is 2 different options for sounds and music. The rest of the options like Autoplay and different speeds of spinning can be selected directly from the gameboard.
Overall very decent UI, perfect from the previous Hyper Frames Zeus Slot, with better looking symbols and better animations.
Slot Features
- Wilds: The wilds in this slot substitute for all symbols but pearls in base game.
These show only in base game, as the bonus spins do not contain any other symbols but prize symbols, pearls and hyper frames. During testing these showed up quite often, but only contributed to small winnings anywhere from 0.5x to 5x.
- Bonus Spins with Hyper Frames: When a white pearl lands on the reels it can become a green, red or blue pearls or a golden coin.
When collected these have a chance to trigger the bonus spins which awards a total of 6 spins. During the feature the player can land a +1 symbol which awards an additional spin each time the symbol shows up.
When triggered the bonus feature will start with this screen showing pretty much all boosts and available frames. The boosts can be Multi which awards random multipliers 2x – 10x to the prizes on a random number of frames, Collect which can collect up to 10 frame prizes and then repopulate them and Upgrade which upgrades up to 10 frame prizes to the next tier value.
During this feature whenever a pearl lands, it leaves a frame which would later be populated with a cash prize or a jackpot. Afterwards the bonus perk would be applied in this case Multi and then all prizes will be collected. The frames can be Stone, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Magic. Every pearl landing starts with a stone frame and each time the pearl lands on a position where there’s already a frame, it gets upgraded to the next tier. Stone frames award 0.2x, Bronze 0.5x – 1x, Silver 1.5x – 3x, Gold 5x – 7x Mini or Minor Jackpots and Magic: Mini 10x, Minor 25x, Major 200x and Mega 5,000x jackpots.
The name of the game is try to get as many high tier frames as possible for the highest chance of a big payout.
The second most important thing is to have multiple perks active so they stack and apply to whatever prizes have been revealed during the feature.
Whenever multiple features are active and one of them is the golden chest, the feature will start with a golden wheel which will let you spin it for one of the 4 perks: Super Gold Bonus – all pearls instantly award gold frames; Super Spinz Bonus – instead of starting with 6 spins, the feature starts with 12; Super Stackz Bonus – Pearls can be stacked; Super Symbol Spins – the pearls symbol can be 2×2 or 3×3, which is what we landed.
While all of these look nice boosts, we think the instant golden frames sounds the best as it instantly guarantees that the prize would be a minimum of 5x per frame. Overall the winnings during testing weren’t impressive, usually around 15x-25x.
Even with a magic frame we couldn’t surpass 25x, but considering this is Medium volatility slot and the feature triggers quite often, this is understandable.
- Poseidon Feature: During base game, this feature can be randomly triggered where Poseidon will do an animation.
Once complete bonus spins will be awarded with a random number boosters.
Verdict
Is Hyper Frames Poseidon worth your time? If you enjoyed Hyper Frames Zeus, then this will be an amazing slot for you, otherwise it might seem too odd and weird.
Everything is accompanied with tons of animations which drags out the game, and impatient players will definitely be frustrated with this one.
While the slot has a bonus spin feature with several different perks and combinations of perks, there are no traditional free spins or any other features. We do have 4 jackpots but they require magical frames, something you’d rarely see.
The medium volatility here does make that one feature trigger often enough, but there’s no ‘wow’ effect because most of our trigger payouts were from 15x to 25x, making this slot hard to recommend.
