Slot Design
Lost Vegas online slot has the standard 5×3 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 3 rows and 243 paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 95.77% and its variance is set to MEDIUM.
The minimum bet per spin in this slot is 0.30$, and the maximum bet per spin is 112.50$, making it ideal for virtually all players.
The wagering menu is the one Games Global has used for years, a bit outdated and confusing with the coins sizes and values.
There’s no Total Bet option, that was present in other Games Global games, so you’d have to leave this menu in order to see what your total bet would be.
The slot offers two gameplay modes, depending on which side you’d like to pick the Survivors or the Zombies.
This can be switched from the button in the top right, which will be either showing Play Zombies or Play Survivors.
We have chosen the Zombie mode in this picture, which offers Free Spins with Infection Feature, where Zombie Wilds infect reels and turns wilds into stacked wilds.
On the contrary the Survivors mode, offers Free Spins with Stash feature, where the symbols 10 through Ace are removed if they land will be added as cash to your stash.
In terms of visuals, the game has received a facelift and the symbols actually look nice, or at least a lot nicer from the software version.
Once again, during the port from software to browser, this game did not get an Autoplay feature/button, so you would be clicking through the entire time.
Slot Features
- Wild symbols: These have the ability to substitute for most symbols except scatters.
- Free spins: Assign either Survivor or Zombie mode and land three-plus hazard scatters to commence free spins.
- Survivor free spins: Ace symbols are removed and add cash to your stash. This feature continues until all symbols are stashed.
While there are A, K, Q, J, 10 symbols remaining, the free spins will continue and you can accumulate more winnings via the rest of the symbols. At the end of the feature we managed to get a total of 2,265.50$.
To land the last symbol took at least 10 spins, during which we managed to get around 500.00$ from payline wins.
- Zombie free spins: Wild symbols are turned into stacked ones. Stacked wilds can spread and infect up to five reels for a maximum of 50 free spins.
Took us quite a while to trigger the free spins for a second time. Not sure if we were just unlucky or twice in over a thousand spins was the goal here.
- Blackout Bonus: Randomly activated after a non-win, causing high-value symbols to provide cash prizes and single scatters to trigger free spins. We managed to trigger this once and the prize was around 450.00$ on a 45.00 bet per spin.
- Zombie Fist of Cash: Non-winning spins can deliver random cash prizes. We saw this feature trigger twice in close to 500 spins.
The first prize was around 53.00$, while the second one was 360.00$, with our bet per spin set at 45.00$. While the first is called Zombie Fist, it can emerge in both modes, so there’s no particular mode that triggers this feature.
Verdict
The graphic novel style of Lost Vegas looks super-cool, but the slot has much more going on beneath the sleek surface.
The slot offers 2 game modes with different features in the free spins, and 2 general features that trigger randomly.
Despite the medium volatility, we found it quite hard to trigger the free spins and managed to see that feature twice in over a thousand spins and over 3 hours of spinning.
