Slot Design
Magic Jokers online slot, has a slightly bigger 5×4 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 4 rows and 40 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.24% and its variance is set to MEDIUM.
The minimum bet per spin is 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 50.00$, making this slot ideal for a wide range of players.
The bet menu is accessible through the gameboard from the hamburger menu above the spin button, and then clicking on the +- tab.
The menu itself also contains the Quick Spin option and the Autoplay option, as well as 4 bet presets that the player can choose from.
Though the theme of the slot is classic the symbols in 3D, and are modernized to match today’s graphics and quality.
The second menu and the settings are accessible through the 3 dots below the spin button.
The sound option is only one, which means that music and sounds are bundled up and you can’t turn them off individually.
This menu also contains the previous menus as tabs on the top, including a paytable menu as well.
Slot Features
- Bump Up™: Landing 3 Magic Joker symbols triggers this feature. The player gains 4 respins on reels 2, 3 and 4, where only Special Bonus Symbols, Bonus Symbols and blank spaces are present.
This feature has different tiers, and once the player makes it to the next tier, the respins are reset back to 4. The Joker symbols will offer the following payouts:

During this feature the animations are quite slow, which we did not like very much. If the Jokers collected per tier exceed the required to move up a tier, the remaining Jokers will go towards the next tier. On our first trigger we managed to only get to the 5th tier which required us to collect 8 Joker symbols, which we did not manage, and our payout was the 20x.
During this feature there’s a special bonus Joker that makes you get to the next tier right away, a symbol we did not see.
- Free Spins: Landing 3 scatters on the gameboard will trigger the Free Spins randomizer.
This is what the feature looks like and as you can see it will determine the amount of free spins from 8 to 15, the line multiplier from 2x to 5x and the bonus symbol density levels
We managed to get 10 free spins with 3x multiplier and level 3 bonus symbol density. During the free spins we managed to trigger the bump up feature once but did not get very far only a 15x payout. At the end of the 10th spin our total was 30.9x.
- Upsizer™: This feature becomes available once the Free Spins randomizer has chosen the spins, the line multiplier and the bonus symbol density levels.
This feature may not be available above a certain amount of bet per spin.
- Buy Feature: If the player does not wish to wait to trigger free spins, they can simply buy them for the 50x the bet. This feature may not be available above a certain threshold.
Verdict
Magic Jokers definitely put a spin on the classic theme, and stands out from most classic slots.
Though the game has outstanding graphics, animations and several features, the bump up feature felt like a big disappointment as it’s so hard to get to the higher tiers, due to the large number of bonus symbols requirement.
During our testing we triggered the feature plenty of times, but never managed to get past the 5th tier and the 20x payout.
This should be however one of the more popular slots this summer, as it is a very good looking game, with a max prize capped at 5,000x.
