The game is a sequel to the original Oink Farm, which came out 2 years ago and became one of the most popular slots for July 2022.

Though the slot is more than a month away, all players of Yukon Gold Casino, can play it as the casino has it exclusively under their Early Releases section.

Oink Farm 2 has a slightly bigger 6×4 gameboard, with 6 reels, 4 rows and 40 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.37%, the volatility is set to MEDIUM and the hit rate is 31.41%.

The minimum bet per spins starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 100.00$, a range that’s ideal for almost any player out there.

The bet menu chosen by Foxium is perfect as it allows players to select their desired wager with one simple click without too much thinking and effort.

On the other hand the settings menu does not offer much choice and we’d like to see more options in it in the future.

Ideally we would like to see the audio and music options being separate as people may get bored of the background music, but would still like to have slot sounds.

Overall this sequel offers a lot of visual improvement compared to the original slot in addition to more features.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The wild in this game is the piggy symbol which substitutes for all symbols but scatters.

There’s also an expanding wild feature, which triggers when you land 2 or wilds in the same row. There’s a condition however, there have to be spaces between the two wilds, and the piggy will fill them in with wilds. If there’s no spaces it will be just like regular wilds without triggering the expanding wild feature.

• Corn Collect: When 2 scatters appear on the reels, they are collected on the bar above the gameboard. We received a gift of 2 corns when the slot started. The number of free spins increases with each 2 collected. Once you reach 10 free spins, the multiplier of the free spins starts increasing as well.

This bar is easily filled as we kept getting 2 scatters over and over and had the 5x and 20 free spins in no time.

• Respin Feature: When 2 scatters symbols appear on the reel, the 6th reel will respins for a chance to land a 3rd scatter and trigger free spins.

These will trigger once in a while, and this is how we triggered our first free spin feature. It took a while though.

• Free Spins: Land 3 scatters to trigger the Free Spins feature. The amount of free spins and the multiplier is determined by how many scatters have been collected during base game. For the entire feature the rightmost reel is replaced by Wilds. Before the feature starts, there’s an opportunity to gamble the free spins for a chance for more free spins.

It took us a while to trigger this feature but it was well worth it. The total payout was 164.5x as we had 20 free spins with a 5x multiplier. When the free spins are triggered at the maximum there’s no gamble feature.

On our second trigger however we did not have the maximum free spins, so we did get the gamble feature.

Though the wheel landing on 14 free spins, the chicken hit it once to move the arrow on 16 free spins and 3x multiplier.

• Buy Feature: This feature is locked behind free spins trigger. Once you’ve triggered Free Spins once, you will see it. This would cost 100x.

Once you’ve purchased it the feature will give you a spin wheel and that’s going to determine the amount of free spins and multiplier you will receive.

• Gamble Feature: If you’d like to gamble for the free spins, the cost is 10x for 10%.

While this can trigger free spins at a discount, it can also just take your money for nothing, so be advised.

Verdict

Oink Farm 2 is a true successor of the original slot, and we expect it to be one of the most played slots in May 2024.

The slot has decent graphics, it’s entertaining with decent features and free spins which when played at maximum can payout extremely well.

Our only problem was the trigger rate of the free spins as it took quite a while to trigger them and during that time we only had to rely on expanding wilds to entertain us.

The slot is still a month away from an official release, but it’s currently available for all players of Yukon Gold Casino, so head there if you’d like to play it now.
