Squealin Riches 2 has a slightly bigger 5×4 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 4 rows and 25 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.04%, the volatility has been set to HIGH and the hit rate is 18.92%.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 10.00$, with the maximum winnings capped at 25,000x the bet.
We have always been partially happy with PearFiction Studios menu, as it does allow us to select our wager with a single click, but not all options are available. Rather than have min and max buttons and an adjuster, just add the other 10 options and allow the player just choose.
The settings menu is where the studio shines and deserves an award, as it has all of the options anyone can need, and has volume sliders for all sounds. This is the ideal settings menu for us and we believe all slot developing studios out there shout adopt it.
Overall the UI and symbols look like most of the other slots from PearFiction Studios but that’s good because we like the cartoonish clean look.
Slot Features
- Wilds: The wilds in this slot substitute for high and low symbols only and can show up and stay for up to 4 spins.
Whenever the wilds land, they try to create the biggest possible line win and ignore the little ones.
- Bonus Wheel: When the bonus wheel is triggered it will allow the player to win one of the 5 jackpots: Mini (15x – 25x); Minor (30x – 100x); Major (125x – 225x); Grand (250x – 750x); Epic (1,000x – 25,000x). In addition the bonus wheel allows players to trigger free spins as well.
This feature is very rare and it took us over a thousand spins to actually trigger and and at the end we only received the Mini jackpot, so it was disappointing.
- Loot Collect: This is a collect feature, where when the collect symbol shows up it will collect all loot on the screen. It can stay up to 4 spins and has a few other perks.
The winnings on this feature depend on the amount of cash prizes that have landed at the same time, as well as what kind of a collector symbol you have landed. During our gameplay we saw the multi collector, the collect symbol that persisted 4 spin and the biggest payout for us was around 15x.
- Free Spins: Collecting a star below each reel will contribute towards triggering this feature. When all reels have a star the feature will trigger and the player will receive 7 free spins.
Depending on how many pots were activated, different features trigger. In this trigger we managed to get Cascade Free Spins, with Jumbo Free Spins, Expand Free Spins. Our total payout came out to be 64x, which wasn’t that great to be honest as we waited around 300 spins for this trigger.
- Buy Feature: If the player does not wish to wait for free spin triggers, they can purchase them for a calculated cost.
Depending on the feature the cost of buying free spins can random from 39x to 142x.
Verdict
Squealin Riches 2 is a great improvement from the original Squealin Riches, and a slot that has most of the modern features.
We liked the visuals, the options, the features and enjoyed the huge 25,000x max win that the game offered.
While the high volatility was quite boring at times, the collect feature made sure we don’t experience long periods of nothing.
Overall a quite enjoyable game which is currently one of the most played on Yukon Gold Casino, in their Early Releases section, as the slot officially comes out at the end of May.
