Slot Design
Super Craze Bonanza online slot has a slightly larger 5×4 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 4 rows and a 1024 paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.10% and its variance is set to HIGH.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 25.00$, making this slot ideal for players looking for low wagering slots.
While the bet menu allows us to pick a few preset bets and has a max bet button, there’s still a lot of clicking involved if the bet you desire is not listed.
We hope Hammertime Games, will move towards to a bet menu where all of the possible bets are listed and the player can simply choose with one click.
The UI is pretty clean and well done, the symbols are nothing special but are also well done and in 3D.
The Quick spins button is positioned on the top right, below it is the Autoplay feature.
The menu on the bottom right, has a setting menu, containing the quick spin option as well as sounds option.
The sound is bundled up, so you can’t turn off the music or the sound alone, but this can be done directly from the gameboard as well, on the bottom left.
We are not sure why the buy feature is locked behind a 100 spins, as usually slots that offer it have it available right away.
Slot Features
- Rolling Reels: This feature is enabled during base spins and free spins. When a winning combination is formed the winning symbols are removed and new ones take this place with a chance to form consecutive wins.
This feature triggers quite often, and can lead to some decent payouts with a few consecutive wins and a multiplier in those.
- Multiplier Symbol: This symbol can appear during base game and free spins and it offers win multiplier from 2x to 20x. If there are multiple multipliers on a single spin, participating in a win, the sum of the multipliers is multiplied by the win.
While the symbols show up on spins quite often, they do not always participate in wins, in which case they do not contribute to anything.
- Sugarstorm Feature: This feature can randomly trigger during base game. A free spins is awarded and the feature can turn up to 5 reels wild.
This feature can be unlocked up to 3 times in free spins for a total of 16 tokens, where the first one takes 12, and the 2nd and 3rd take 2 each. We did not manage to trigger the feature during base spins, so it’s pretty safe to assume the chance is quite low.
- Free Spins: Landing 3+ scatter symbols triggers the free spins & multipliers wheel. Depending on how many scatter symbols have triggered the feature determines the values on the wheel:

The first time we triggered the free spins it was only with 3 scatters.
We managed to get 7 free spins and a starting multiplier of 4x, which could be upgraded randomly during the feature. We also received 6 sugarstorm tokens.
While we started with a 4x multiplier, we managed to get it to 17x and got a total of 53.3x payout at the end of our free spins. We also managed to collect 11 sugarstorm tokens.
Landing 3 or more scatters during free spins will award you 5 additional spins. The multiplier is applied to the winnings whenever a multiplier symbol participates in the winnings. Once that multiplier gets into the double digits, any winnings especially after rolling reels can give crazy payouts.
We received a 185x payout from a 20x multiplier by landing a total of 3 winning combinations, both of which were multiplied by 20x roughly around 90x. Because of the high volatility, this can be hit or miss as during one of our trigger of 10 free spins we received a 1.9x total payout.
- Buy Feature: The buy feature allows you to buy free spins with a random number of scatters between 3 and 5. The cost of the buy is 50x. We tried this feature around 5-6 times and the weight is towards 3 scatters, as we never landed anything more than 3.
Verdict
Sugar Craze Bonanza is a decent game from an upcoming studio Hammertime Games.
Highly volatile, but with a max prize of up to 10,000x, this slot offers plenty of features and fun times.
One thing we couldn’t understand is why the buy feature was locked behind an initial 100 spins.
Overall almost everything revolves around the free spins and the increasing win multiplier there, as we managed to get some extremely good payout there, as well as some less than 2x ones.
