The slot does not have the typical paylines, but consists of cluster pays, which trigger when five or more identical symbols are next to each other, be that vertically or horizontally.
With wilds with multipliers up to 10x and a max win of a bit over 10,000x, the slot looks promising and we are about to find out if it meets our expectations.

Slot Design
Tiki Clusters Blaze & Boom has a slightly bigger 5×5 gameboard, with 5 reels, 5 rows and a cluster payout where 5 or more identical symbols next to each other horizontally or vertically form a pay.
The slot’s RTP is 96.00%, the volatility has been set to HIGH and the hit rate is 30.18%.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 25.00$, with the max prize being capped at 10,186x.
The bet menu is what we have always approved and pushed for. Simple yet very effective design, where the player can select their desired wager with a single click.
The slot has no settings menu, as the quick spins are on the gameboard while the sound button is in the menu on the right hand side.
The autoplay menu is the only other menu in the game, where the player can select up to a 100 autoplay spins. This one is pretty standard for all slots.
The UI and design of the slot, captures the Polynesian vibe and when you add the music, it completes it.
Slot Features
- Wilds with multipliers: The Wilds in this slot substitute for all symbols but special symbols like bomb symbols and bonus symbols. They can come with multipliers up to 10x. During Bonus spins, the wilds are sticky.
These will show up during base gameplay a lot, and will be a big portion of your winnings. In fact this is the only thing happening during base gameplay so if you hate it, you will hate the game.
- Bomb symbols: Occasionally bomb symbols land blowing up the nearby symbols converting them into one random symbol. If multiple bombs go off, they all convert into the same symbol.
These also show up quite often during base gameplay and will aid the player to get more matching symbols and possible more winnings. These can also be money symbols.
- Money symbols: The money symbols in this slot are round and have values in them between 0.2x the bet and 250x the bet. Because wilds with multipliers can actually affect these combinations, so wild winnings can occur on a single spin.
This is what you will see most often, which is low value money symbols and winnings around 2x to 9x. However when the stars align and you also get a wild in there with a high multiplier then the winnings can go over 100x.
During our testing we saw this happen roughly 4 times, once every a few hundred spins, but it felt great.
- Bonus Spins & Super Bonus Spins: Landing 3 bonus symbols will award 10 free spins. During the free spins, the wilds are sticky and will persist for the remainder of the spins. The money cluster will create a sticky coin as well which will also persist on the board. Landing 2 additional bonus symbols will award 5 free spins.
This is the screen that explains all that before the actual free spins start. What isn’t mentioned is that 3 bonus symbols landed in the free spins will award 10 extra spins. The super bonus symbol shows up only on reel 1 and can trigger super bonus spins, with a combination of 2 bonus symbols. Super Bonus Spins start with 3 random sticky symbols on the board.
- Buy Feature: The buy feature offers several choices, from cheap to quite expensive.
The first one for 1.5x triples the bonus and super bonus chances to show up. The second one for 5x, will guarantee Wild and Bomb symbols on each spin. The Bonus feature trigger costs 100x and the Super Bonus Feature costs 400x. We gave both a try a few times, and while the regular bonus feature did manage to break even on several occasions, the super bonus one never did.
And just as we were about to give up on spending more of our fun money on it, it paid out. It was pure luck on the follow up sticky multipliers which landed all next to each other forming some 600x per spin for a total of 1,583x at the end.
Verdict
Tiki Clusters Blaze & Boom does indeed go boom, whenever you land the right combinations of money symbols and wilds with high multipliers.
While you wont see these happen all the time, on different occasions we had regular base game spins with winnings over a 100x, while some of the bonus win spins went up to 600x on a single spin.
Of course this is balanced by the fact that it happens very rarely, but still quite the thrill when it actually goes ‘BOOM’.
The slot did meet our expectations, although might not be for everyone, especially players looking for variety of features.
