Tons Of Suns online slot has the standard 5×3 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 3 rows and 243 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.01%, the volatility is HIGH and the hit rate is 33.99%.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 40.00$, making the slot ideal for a wide range of players.

High Limit Studio is sticking to their choice for a wager adjuster, when many studios have already transitioned to a 1 click betting layout.

The settings menu however has decent options, include music and sound on separate channels, allowing us to turn them off individually.

Overall we are still disappointed in the visuals, and this has been a trend in all High Limit Studio, they just look outdated.

While it’s a new studio and it will take time and feedback for improvement, we would like to see some change and improvement.

Slot Features

• Sun Symbol Feature: The sun symbols appear on all reels, and managing to land 1 or more sun symbols triggers this feature. During the base game each sun symbol will award a cash prize up to 25x, 5-20 free spins or pick feature.

During our testing, most of these symbols came up as 0.5x up to 1x, and occasionally something with 5x,10x and 15x. We’ve had the whole board filled with symbols, which does not grant anything extra.

• Pick Bonus Feature: A standard pick feature, available at random only in base game. Match 3 icons to receive the corresponding jackpot. The four jackpots are as follow Mini 5x, Minor 25x, Major 50x and Mega 250x. Honestly these are NOT values for MEGA and MAJOR jackpots. Revealing a boost icon can boost these up to Mini 15x, Minor 75x, Major 150x and MEGA 750x. Even at these values, it looks quite low. There’s even a WIN ALL symbol and even then 990x is a lot less than what we usually see.

The feature does not change the size of the gameboard, like most pick features, but instead fills it up with blue sun symbols.

During our picking we received a boost to the jackpots twice and at the end we won the Minor which was at the time 75x.

• Free Spins: Landing 3 or more scatters trigger 10 free spins. The sun feature also offers 5,10,15,20 free spins.

During the free spins there’s a scatter trail, granting 5 extra spin and a multiplier every 4th scatter that you land. While in many slots, the multiplier takes effect right away, here, the multiplier applies only for those 5 spins, which is quite disappointing.

• Buy Feature: If for any reason a player wishes to buy the free spins right away they can do so for 60x.

This is the only buy option, which grants 10 free spins. The higher amount of free spins can only be received from the sun symbol feature.

Verdict

Tons of Suns lives up to its name, as during our gameplay there were indeed tons of suns.

However the visuals are the thing that made our whole experience not that fun, combined with the low prize multipliers.

Though the slot menu shows a max prize of over 4,500x, winning all jackpots boosted would only net you 990x.

The slot will officially come out in late January, but the game is currently available as an Early Release on Yukon Gold Casino.

However considering how many better slots came out recently, we’d stay away from this one.
