Treasures of Kilauea online slot has a very different design than the average 5×3 gameboard slot, consisting of 2 sets, the top set being 1 row with 3 reels moving horizontally, while the second set consists of 5 reels and 4 rows, and a total of 40 fixed paylines.

The RTP of this slot is 96.23% and its variance is set to HIGH.

The minimum bet per spin is 0.10$ and the maximum bet per spin is 50.00$, making this online slot perfect for wide range of players.

The bet menu is creative, giving the players the option to pick the minimum or maximum bet, a favorite preset or adjust the bet with a few clicks.

Slot Features

• Volcano Symbol: This symbol leaves behind a frame on the position where it landed. After 10 spins, the symbol inside the frame turns into a Wild.

The counter is displayed on the top left and when it goes down to 0 the wilds will show up on the frames.

In this trigger we had a lot of frames, a total of 11 which contributed to a total of a 10x payout.

• Spin Counters: There are 2 spin counters on top of the gameboard of this online slot. The left counter counts from 10 to 0 for the Lava Spin feature trigger, where once every 10 spins, the frame left from the Volcano symbol will turn into a wild. The right counter counts from 5 to 0, and tracks the Eruption spin feature where additional wild symbols are given on top of those within the lava frame.

The right one moves down slower as it moves with 1 for every time the left one goes down to 0, so in a total of 50 spins.

• Lava Spin: This triggers every 10 spins, and is tracked by the left counter on the top of the online slot. Once it triggers the symbol inside the frame left behind from the Volcano symbol, turns into a wild.

• Eruption Spin: This feature triggers every 5 Lava spins, or a total of 50 spins as mentioned earlier in the review. During this feature the Lava frames turn into wilds and additional wilds are randomly awarded. If a Wild lands on another Wild symbol it becomes a 2x Wild symbol. The 2x Wild symbol awards double win on substitution

• Free Spins: Getting 3, 4 or 5 scatters will award the Free Spins selection feature. Three scatters give the player a choice of: 15 free spins with 5 wilds, 10 free spins with 7 wilds and 5 free spins with 10 wilds. Four scatters give the player a choice of: 30 free spins with 5 wilds, 20 free spins with 7 wilds and 10 free spins with 10 wilds. Five scatters give the player a choice of: 45 free spins with 5 wilds, 30 free spins with 7 wilds and 15 free spins with 10 wilds.

• Idol Symbol: Getting the idol symbol in the middle of the first set will trigger the Jackpot wheel, where the player gets to spin the wheel and receive the according jackpot: Micro 18x, Mini 30x, Minor 100x, Major 500x and Mega 5000x.

Treasures of Kilauea is a wonderful online slot, brought to the Apricot library in August 2022.

The game is themed after the famous active volcano in Hawaii, Kilauea and offers a lot of free spins, crazy 2x Wilds and an unusual gameboard consisting of 2 sets of reels.

The design of the game is also awesome, featuring an animated version of the volcano on the right, as well as jackpots on the left, giving prizes up to 5000x the triggering bet.
