Triple Vegas Mega Spin Slot Review

Triple Vegas Mega Spin is an online slot, developed by High Limit Studio, powered by Microgaming online casinos, scheduled to be released on November 11th 2024.

This is a sequel to the Triple Vegas Mega Spin, which came out last year, and turned up to be quite popular.

In this one the max win has been lowered to 5,000x from 5,500x while the amount of features has been increase and the volatility has been kept to MEDIUM.

Triple Vegas Mega Spin keeps the same standard 5×3 gameboard with 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.01%, the volatility is set to MEDIUM and the hit rate is 27.5%.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.25$, while the maximum bet reaches 40.00$, with the max win being capped at 5,000x.

High Limit Studio still hasn’t made a one click menu, where the players can select their desired wager with a single press of a button, therefore we have to use the minus and plus buttons to adjust our bet.

However their settings menu is pretty decent, allowing us to mute background sounds or music separately, which is starting to become the norm these days.

Overall the slot is keeping the old UI with a few additions, but it really looks almost identical to the original, released in 2023.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The wilds in this slot substitute for all symbols but scatters, wheel bonus, trigger symbols and link&win symbols.

During our testing, these symbols showed up quite often, and they can land stacked on the reels, for even higher wins. The highest we saw was around 15x on a single spin.

• Express Collect Feature: This is the bread and butter of the slot during base game. The trigger symbol can only land on reel 5, while the cash symbols land on reels 1-4 and can be between 0.8x and 200x. The cash prizes that show up without a collect symbol can randomly trigger a respin on reel 5.

This feature is quite common during base game and it can land decent prizes while you are waiting for free spins, bonus wheel or link&win to trigger.

• Free Spins: Landing 3 scatters during base game will trigger 10 free spins. During free spins the collect symbol comes with the multiplier that has accumulated during base game. The multiplier gets increased by 0.5x for each star symbol that lands.

During our first trigger we only had a 1.5x multiplier, but we did get a nice win which was 12x on that one single spin. The total payout we got after the 10 free spins was roughly 25x. During the free spins the reel 5 does not get a chance to respin. During free spins you also cannot trigger Link&Win.

• Link&Win: This feature can only be triggered from the bonus wheel. On wheel level 1 the feature is plain without multipliers, on level 2 and 3 there are multipliers. It’s a standard Link&Win feature, where 6 symbols are locked in place, and you get 3 respins. Whenever a new symbol lands, the respins are reset back to 3.

This is quite rare feature as you first need to trigger the bonus wheel, and then you’d need to land the Link&Win one.

• Wheel Bonus: Landing a bonus wheel symbol and collect symbol triggers this feature. There are 3 set of wheels, and you start with the smallest one. The level 1 wheel has the following prizes: Mega 5,000x; Major 500x; Mini 20x; Link&Win; 5x, 3x 2x prize multipliers, Level 2 symbol.

The level 2 wheel, has the 3x 5x and 8x prize multiplier, Link&Win with 2x,3x 5x multiplier, Mega 5,000x and Major 500x on 2 spots with Level 3 symbol on one spot. We hit here the 5x multiplier and got a total of 62x payout. The level 3 has the Mega 5,000x on 3 spots, 10x 8x and 5x prize multipliers and Link&Win with multipliers on 2 places.

Rarely did we hit this wheel, but because the bonus wheel feature is quite common, the player will get a lot of opportunities to do so.

Verdict

Triple Vegas Mega Spin has two things that standout and differ from the original, and that’s 3 wheels and an up to 10x multiplier for free spins.

While the 3 wheels isn’t something very noticeable, or anything that most players will care for, the multiplier is actually quite the game changer.

Once it ramps up over 4x, the free spin winnings can get quite substantial, and perhaps this is the reason the studio lowered the max prize from 5,500x in the original, to the 5,000x.

Though the slot is a few days away from an official release, Yukon Gold Casino has it for their players right now.
