Wicked Tales: Dark Red online slot has an unusual 5×3 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 3 rows, 25 fixed paylines and wandering reels.
The Wandering reels are group of 3 reels that spin together and will stop in 1 of the 3 positions: left, center , right.
In the original picture, the wandering reels are on the left position, but on the next spin, they were on the right.
The position of the wandering reels determines the paylines, they are always 25 but the positions which pay differ and can be seen in the payline menu at the bottom.
The slot’s RTP is 96.10% and its variance is set to MEDIUM.
The minimum bet starts from 0.25$, while the maximum bet goes up to 200.00$, making this slot perfect for virtually anyone who wishes to play.

For every cash prize picked, the multiplier increases with 1x, and it will reflected at the top of the gameboard. Finding all 10 cash prizes grants an additional 20x the bet bonus. Picking the wolf awards 1x the bet and ends this feature. Finding all 10 cash prizes also ends this feature. Finding an axe, will block one wolf, from ending your feature.
By our 8th pick we had picked an axe, a wolf and 6 cash prizes. On our 9th pick we landed another wolf which ended our feature with a total of 6,672.00$ on a 200.00$ bet, so roughly 33x in total.
- Free Spins: When the bonus wheel lands on one of the male, female, wolf or medallion symbols, 9 free spins are triggered. Whatever was the triggering symbol that landed on the wheel, will replace all high paying symbols.
After we triggered 9 free spins, this is the total we got as a prize, 2,392.00$, roughly 11x and almost 2,000$ from those were from the cash prizes of the Wolf’s Wheel Bonus.

The game offers a few features, but mostly revolves around the Wolf’s Wheel Bonus and the Wandering Reels.
While the game is definitely interesting to play, we did not find it very rewarding, with returns from the free spins on average around 10x and the returns from the forest of fortunes on average around 27x.
Overall great slot in terms of graphics, animations and features, however the maximum win isn’t stated anywhere so we are unaware of what the maximum potential is here.
