Slot Design
Woolly Wilds Max online slot has the standard 5×3 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.20% and its variance is set to MEDIUM.
These values are all the same for the normal Woolly Wilds and Woolly Wilds Max.
The slot on itself has two modes: Base Mode and a Gold Mode.
The gold mode offers bigger and higher jackpots, but the minimum and maximum bets of the slot are also increased.
During base mode, the minimum bet per spins is 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 3.00$, making the slot ideal for low wagering players.
The maximum jackpot during this mode is GRAND which is a flat 1,000$, which is again the case for both Woolly Wilds and Woolly Wilds Max.
Where the real difference comes is the Gold Mode of the slot, and the addition of the Super Jackpot.
In Woolly Wilds slot, the value of the jackpot is a flat 25,000$ and the max win of the game is 50,000$, while in the MAX slot, the value of the jackpot is a 100,000$ and the max win is 200,000$.
Excellent bet menu layout, allowing players to choose the desired bet with a simple click and not waste any time.
The side menu on the right is something familiar if you have played any other All41 Studio slot, where we have an Autoplay menu, as well as Settings nested in the hamburger menu, which give us access to Quick Spins and Sound options.
Ideally we would like to see music and sounds on different channels so we can separately turn them off, but for now that’s not available in All41 Studio games.
Slot Features
- Wilds: The wilds in this slot can only show in reels 4 and 5, and can substitute for all symbols but scatters.
During the base game it’s not uncommon to see both reels filled with wilds. This is free spins this is always the case.
- Game Modes & Jackpots: The game mods in this slot are Base Mode and Golden Mode. The option is present in the beginning of the slot, or accessible later on in the bottom left corner where the elephant head acts like a switch. Base Mode has a total of 4 jackpots, where the biggest one is GRAND with a value of 1,000$. This is true for both the Woolly Wilds and Woolly Wilds MAX slot. The Gold Mode however introduces higher values of these jackpots and a 5th Super Jackpot with value of 25,000$ in Woolly Wilds and 100,000$ in Woolly Wilds MAX. There’s a jackpot bar on the top of the gameboard. The higher your bet, the more squares of the bar are filled with colored letters, representing the available jackpots. Landing 5 of a kind, triggers the arrow which starts moving left to right and backwards, until it lands on a position. If that position is a letter, the corresponding Jackpot is awarded.
There are 15 squares on the jackpot bar, and depending on your bet they would be filled with letters. A maximum bet guarantees that all squares contain a jackpot. These letters are randomized on each spin, so sometimes certain jackpots would not be present at all.
Most of the time, from what we saw during our testing, the values would be either Mini or Minor, as they fill most of the positions.
- Free Spins: The free spins trigger in this slot whenever 3 or more scatters land on the gameboard. The awarded free spins for landing 3, 4 or 5 scatters are 10, 15 or 25 respectively.
During free spins, reels 4 and 5 are always wild, increasing your chances to get 5 of a kind to trigger the jackpot bar arrow. Landing 2 scatters during the free spins awards 5 extra spins, while landing 3 scatters on a spin awards 10 additional free spins.
The final payout will be determined mostly by how many jackpots you manage to land during your spins.
Usually we would say that this was a 63x payout, but since very little depends on your maximum bet, excluding the positions filled with jackpots, we just going to say that the flat value was 951.25$. Technically it’s possible to get the same amount and higher with the lowest bet, you just have to get super lucky landing the jackpots with so many empty spaces.
- Buy Feature: If a player does not wish to wait to trigger free spins, for the cost of 50x the bet, they can purchase at least 3 scatters, which can randomly turn into 4 or 5.
We tested this several times, and indeed the 50x buy guarantees you 3 scatters, but on several occasions we landed 4.
Verdict
Woolly Wilds and Woolly Wilds MAX have an unique approach towards prize winning in a slot, shifting the payout from a multiplier which scales with your bet, to a few fixed jackpots on a jackpot bar.
And while the bet increases the chance for triggering those jackpots, because they are flat fees, on low wagers they can be quite the return.
Both games are nearly identical, with the MAX version having 4x bigger max win, and 4x bigger Super Jackpot in Gold Mode.
The base mode for both slots are identical, with identical jackpot values and min-max bets.
The slot will be released in December, but only now it’s available on Yukon Gold Casino, as an Early Access and can be played right way.

The slot is a very decent attempt to shift the winnings from dependent on the max bet, to flat jackpot prizes, but at the same time, the lack of more features, but free spins makes the slot feel a bit “dry”. We still enjoyed it and you do land quite a few prizes with a chance every time to get a huge payout, but after a while it just gets boring. However decent attempt from All41 Studios, as we always applaud creativity and exploring new horizons.
