Zeus Royale is an online slot, developed by Wishbone Games, powered by Apricot online casinos, scheduled to be released on October 8th 2025.

The game resembles a lot the previously released Kingfisher Slot and Kingfisher of the Sands Slot with their own unique style.

This one goes straight to the Greek mythology, but with the same reel enhancing components, that have made their slots standout.

Though the slot is a few weeks away from an official release, Yukon Gold Casino, Canada’s top online casino has it exclusively in their library, ready for play by new and existing players.

Slot Design

Zeus Royale has a slightly bigger 5×4 gameboard, with 5 reels, 4 rows and 20 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.21%, the volatility has been set to MEDIUM, and the hit rate is 29.35%.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.10$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 40.00$, with the max prize being capped at 6,000x the bet.

Despite the fact that Wishbone Games has now a good amount of released slots, they still lack a modern bet menu where the player can select the desired wager with a single click.

The settings menu however is pretty decent with quick spins, background music and sounds being on separate options. In addition the speaker icon on the gameboard has a volume slider, a modern feature that should probably be in every slot.

Overall the UI is clean, the animations are well polished, and the gameboard looks like reels 1, 2 and 3 have different amount of rows, but they are exactly 4 across the board.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The wilds in this slot, substitute for all symbols but scatters and special symbols.

During base game, players will see this symbol quite often and it will contribute to some small to medium win combinations.

• Bonus Feature: When a scatter lands on a reel, it may crack and trigger the feature. The scatters on reel 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 have unique enhancements active. During the feature coin symbols lands on the reels with values between 0.20x to 1,000x.

• Reel 1: Multiplier Enhancer: Starts from 1x, then increases by 1 for each ‘X’ symbol that lands in the feature. The maximum value of the multiplier is 5x.

All features can show up combined, just like on the image above, where the features multiplier and adder were combined.

• Reel 2: Adder Enhancer: Starts from 0, and then adds +1 for each + symbol that shows up in the feature. When the Zeus symbol shows up it starts collecting the prizes on the board.

This enhancement shines whenever a lot of prize symbols show up on the board, as it adds essentially that much more to the payout pool. Our payouts on most triggers were between 42x and 66x which was quite decent. The adder however does not trigger as often as respins for example.

• Reel 3: Super Enhancement: All features are active and before the feature starts, there’s a chance to increase the enhancement values.

• Reel 4: Upgrade Enhancement: Starting with the number 10 symbol, adds monetary value to a lowest paying symbol for every time the arrow up lands in the feature. Each landed arrow symbol highlights an additional royal symbol, progressing from 10 to Ace.

During this trigger we only managed to get to a Jack, with the arrow symbol showing up twice, and the Zeus symbol showing up twice as well to collect. The overall payout was something small like 21-22x.

• Reel 5: Respin Enhancement: Each heart symbol adds an additional heart on the display above reel 5. Each heart represents a chance in the feature.

Whenever a Zeus symbol lands, new coin symbols or upgrades stick when they land. For any spin that does not land a new coin or an upgrade, a heart is taken away. When the player has no hearts left, the Zeus symbol collects all prizes on the board. There are no paylines active during the respin feature. This is the most frequently triggered enhancement.

Verdict

Zeus Royale is an upcoming online slot from Wishbone Games, which holds its ground with some unique perks and features.

Because of the slot’s medium volatility and decent hit rate, you see feature triggers quite often, but they are weighted so most of the time it’s the same feature enhancement over and over (respins).

The enhancements can come combined, while a trigger on Reel 3, gives all enhancements for the free spins, which in over a thousand spins, we did not see. Landing all 5 symbols on each reel also gives the 6,000x max prize.

One annoying thing is having to turn on Quick Spins, on every trigger, and after every trigger.

If you really want to try this slot, go ahead Yukon Gold Casino, Canada’s top online casino, has it exclusively until official release, but there are a lot better slots that have been recently released.
