This is a sequel to the Blazing Bison Slot, with the latest one being the Blazing Bison Gold Blitz Extreme, release on November 21st 2024.
The one before Blazing Bison Gold Blitz was released in May 2023, so logically this is the one for 2025.
Slot Design
Blazing Bison Gold Blitz Ultimate Double X has a bit of a modified gameboard with 6 reels, 5 rows on reels 1 and 6 and 4 rows on reels 2, 3 and 4, with a total of 6,400 paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.00%, the volatility is set to MEDIUM and the hit rate is 27.00%.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 50.00$, with the max prize being capped at 5,000x.
The bet menu has always been ideal allowing players to select their desired wager with a single click. The settings menu is also perfect containing a lot of decent options, several sound options and even volume sliders.
This is what a menu of a modern slot should look like and we urge all studios to switch over to this exact version as it gives players some very needed Quality of Life features.
Overall the slot looks very similar to previous versions, but with a bit of changed gameboard and some additional features.
Slot Features
- Collect Feature: To trigger this feature, land a collect symbol on either reel 1 or 6 or both. This will apply the double X multiplier and then collect all the existing prizes on the screen.
During this trigger, our multiplier was at the maximum of 10x, so this spin paid a total of 25x. During our testing we managed to get this high and higher several times.
Sometimes you will get 2 collect symbols, which essentially doubles the prizes once the multiplier is applied.
When 2 collecting symbols show up but there are no prizes to collect, a respin with a guaranteed prize triggers.
- Double X Multiplier: When the XX symbol shows up, the multiplier on top of the gameboard moves to the next tier, starting from 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x and 10x.
This multiplier resets once the collect feature has triggered and has awarded all the prizes on the screen.
- Free Spins: When 2 Bonus symbols land they count towards the progress on the top left above the jackpots. The 5 jackpots can be Mini 10x, Minor 15x, Major 50x, Mega 250x and GRAND 2,500x. These can land as prizes and be collected during base game and free spins. Whenever 3 or 4 bonus symbols land, the bonus progress bar is filled up immediately.
When the free spins come up there would be a choice of free spins and jackpot and cash symbols per reel. The value for 3 bonus symbols is as shown above, while the choices for 4 bonus symbols is boosted to 12, 15 and 20 free spins.
During free spins you can land an additional spin symbol, adding to your total spins. During this trigger we managed to get a total of 19 free spins and a payout of 98x. During free spins the multiplier does NOT reset.
- Blitz Boost: If the player wishes for the collect feature to trigger twice as often or all the time, they can turn this feature on.
The cost for doubling it is 2x while for collect symbol on every spin is 10x.
- Bonus Buy: If a player does not wish to wait for the free spins trigger, they can purchase it for a calculated cost with a chosen multiplier.
The lowest cost of free spins triggered by 3 bonus symbols is 100x with 2x multiplier and Blitz Boost Off and it goes up to 445x with everything on and 10x multiplier. The 4 bonus symbols trigger starts with 170x, with 2x multiplier and it goes up to 789x with everything turned on.
- Wilds: The wilds in this game are the green ‘Wild’ symbols which substitute for all symbols but collect symbols, bonus symbols and cash prizes.
These rarely showed up and even more rarely contributed to any meaningful winnings, but we weren’t looking for them either way. The collect feature is what this slot is all about.
Verdict
Blazing Bison Gold Blitz Ultimate Double X is so far the best Blazing Bison slot, and it came out today October 30th 2025.
The slot has a rising multiplier for its collect feature, starting from 2x to 10x and it resets on trigger, and it does not reset during free spins.
The free spins come with 3 choices and a symbol for additional free spins, allowing the players to get some very decent payouts, north of a 100x.
This would be one of the newest and most played slots for November, and Yukon Gold Casino, Canada’s top online casino has it in its library.
