Slot Design
The slot has a 3-4-5-4-3 design, which is what the studio has used in the past few releases, consisting of 5 reels with 3-4-5-4-3 rows which go up from reel 1 and then back down from reel 4 with 1125 paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.20%, the volatility is set to HIGH and the hit rate is undisclosed.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.10$, while the maximum bet reaches 25.00$, with a max prize for this slot capped at 10,000x the bet.

- Wilds: The wilds in this slot can come stacked and substitute for all symbols but Link&Win symbols and scatters and can only appear on reels 2,3 and 4.
During your gameplay you will see this symbol quite often, but it will rarely bring any decent winnings as almost everything comes from the jackpots and the Link&Win feature.
- Rising Rewards Jackpot Feature: The slot offers 5 different jackpots on the different reels which start different values: Purple from 5x to 15x with increments of 0.4x; Green from 15x to 25x; Blue from 60x to 100x; Red from 300x to 500x, Yellow from 600x to 1,000x.
You will randomly trigger a jackpot plenty of times during your gameplay, where the sum will be awarded to you, the jackpot value will reset to base. We saw a lot of the green and purple jackpots with occasional hits on the blue one as well.
- Ultra Link&Win Feature: The slot has two sets of Link&Win features a normal one and a Ultra one. They both start with all triggering symbols locked in place and 3 respins. When a new symbol lands, it gets locked in place as well and the respins reset back to 3.
The normal one starts with 4 locked rows as well but has all of the symbols that can land to unlock them as well as perks like collect symbols, and chest symbols.
The ultra one also starts with locked rows, but starts with a collect symbol that collects all prizes on all spins. During out gameplay we landed 2 more collect symbols which collect the prizes only on that spin, but they did add a total of 67.5x to the winnings. The overall payout was 405x.
- Buy Feature: If you do not wish to wait for the trigger you can purchase any of the features for a calculated cost.
The original feature is 100x, while the Ultra is 500x. If you’d like to randomize it it would cost 150x, but we tried it several times and it always gave us the 100x feature.
Verdict
Ancient Fortunes Minotaur Rising is a wonderful slot, another masterpiece brought by Triple Edge Studios.
The industry giant has stuck to what works for them, and have brought us once again, their 3-4-5-4-3 board with rising jackpots and trigger features.
The maximum prize for this one has been increased from 5,000x from the previous similar slot to 10,000x on this one, as well as the payouts from the Ultra Link&Win are quite decent.
