Slot Design

Coyote Cash 2 has the standard 5×3 gameboard, with 5 reels, 3 rows and 243 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.00%, the volatility is set to HIGH and the hit rate is undisclosed.

The slot’s minimum bet per spin starts from 0.25$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 25.00$, with the max prize capped at 2,000x.

As all other RTG slots, there’s no bet menu, but just two buttons for adjusting the bet and a max bet button. Though we would like to see a single click menu, I don’t think RTG cares about any Quality of Life improvements, coming from me.

The settings menu is pretty simple but decent, as it allows me to mute either the sounds or the music or both. In addition the hotkey option is also nice. The quick spins are located on the left of the “-” button.

Overall the UI looks very identical to most other RTG games, which is pretty clean, with nice polished symbols, smooth animations and decent music.

Slot Features

  • Wilds: The wilds in this slot are the bus symbols, which substitute for all symbols but Scatter and Bandit Coyote Symbols.

During base game, these show up quite often, but rarely contribute to a big prize, and it’s mostly 1x-10x wins.

  • Hold & Spin Feature: Six or more Coyote symbols on a single spin, trigger this feature. The feature is pretty much a Link & Win feature, which starts with 3 respins, and whenever a prize lands, it’s locked and the spins reset back to base.

If all positions are filled the GRAND 1,000x jackpot is awarded. The symbols can contain one of the other 3 jackpots: Mini 5x, Minor 10x and Major 20x.

  • Free Spins: Landing 3 scatters triggers 9 free spins. Landing an additional 3 scatters, triggers an additional 3 free spins.

During this feature, landing 6 or more Coyote symbols will trigger the Hold & Win feature. Other than that, there’s nothing special in these free spins and most triggers did not bring anything above 20x.

  • Buy Feature: If a player does not wish to wait for a trigger, they can purchase either Free Spins or Hold & Win for a calculated cost.

The cost for the Free Games is 45x, while the cost for Hold & Spin is 55x.

Verdict

Is Coyote Cash 2 worth your time? Considering that RTG slots are mainly for my US audience, the choice is quite limited. From all of the RTG slots available, this one is one of the better ones.

Most RTG slots are quite simple, quite limited in terms of features, but this one offers two: Free Spins and Hold & Spin (which is literally Link&Win on other slots).

In addition 4 different jackpots and some Wilds to bring occasional wins in base game, and you have a very decent slot.
