Fantasy Mission Force was a 1983 movie starring martial arts legend Jackie Chan.

In December 2017, Real Time Gaming decided to released a branded online slot with symbols and images from the movie.

In this slot, players will spin the reels together with Jackie, for a chance at a progressive jackpot, which is in the top left corner of the gameboard.

The RTG’s menus for the most part are always the same, at least on our promoted RTG casinos, so they would always have the information on the left, with the wager menu, and on the right the max bet button, the spin button and the Autoplay button.

The music chosen for the slot, is logically from the movie, but it was a bit too annoying for us, so we turned it off.

Sadly sounds and music are not separated in this online slot, so you can’t turn only one of those.

In other more modern RTG online slots, this changes and there are two separate options.

The background and symbols appear a bit dated, as well as the movie clips used, but that’s normal for a movie which was released in 1983, and a slot released in 2017.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The Wild symbol in this online slot substitutes for all symbols but scatters and multiplies the winnings by 2x if it participates in a winning combination. This can also be seem by the image of the Wild symbol, which shows x2.

As you can see in the picture, the Wild symbol easily stands out and multiplies the wins that it participates in by 2x.

• Dynamite Free Spins: A scatter on reel 1 and a wild on reel 5, triggers 7 free spins in this online slot. During these 7 free spins all prizes are tripled. This feature cannot be retriggered.

Once a scatter has landed on reel 1, you would see a golden border around reel 5 and it will spin awaiting a wild, so this feature can trigger.

Around the 200th spin, we managed to land the desired symbol combo and triggered the feature.

• Kaboom Feature: During the free spins, a fuse may randomly be added to the wilds, scatters or billy symbols. We triggered this feature more than 3 times during our first free spin encounter which prolonged our Free Spins quite substantially.

Some 700.00$ later, we kept stacking up free spins and were at 15 and they kept growing.

At this point we were wondering how many spins in total we are going to get, since the original 7 sounded way too little.

When the feature finally ended some 50+ free spins later, we managed to get 166x return, thanks to this feature.

• Progressive Jackpot: The progressive jackpot can be triggered at random, only during base game. If the free spins have triggered, the player cannot randomly trigger the jackpot.

Verdict

To be fair we did not expect much from Fantasy Mission Force, as the game looks pretty outdated, has high volatility, and you don’t often trigger anything else, as the game offers nothing else.

However, once we triggered the Free Spins, the Kaboom feature kept triggering and triggering, and the initial 7 free spins turned out to be more than 50 free spins with a total prize of 166x.
