Gem Strike online slot is a standard five reels 3 rows with twenty five paylines.
The minimum bet of the slot starts from 0.25$ and goes up to 25.00$.
The RTP of this online slot is around 96.00% and the variance of the slot is HIGH.
The design of the game is extremely simplistic, and it resembles some of the old jewels games for desktop like Zuma.
And just like those games, identical symbols are destroyed and the next in line fall down, triggering a multiplier.
Each consecutive trigger increases the multiplier by 1x up to 3x.
Slot Features
- Cascading Reels: Identical symbols from left to right form winning combinations. When those are triggered, the gems explode and new ones take their place. If there are more identical symbols a multiplier is triggered up to 3x for the third consecutive explosion.
- Free Spins: The Scatter Symbols have a lightning shape, and if 3 or more appear you get free spins. Three would give you 15 free spins, 4 would give you 30 and 5 would give you 50 free spins.
Verdict
Gem Strike is a new RTG game that’s well polished, runs smooth and feels good.
It has cascading reels so once you have a combination of identical symbols, they are destroyed and new ones takes their place.
For each consecutive “poof” you get a 1x multiplier up to 3x.
While this is a good way to get some nice winnings, the animations make this pretty slow and at times frustrating.
The theme of the game is pretty basic, simply jewels and this is why we have ranked it in the middle of the pack.
