After the original Immortal Romance, came the widely popular Immortal Romance II in 2024, and now follow this one in 2026.
On a first glance it appears that the graphics were improved, the theme song Nocturnal was mixed and it sounds so good, and we’ve got the Power Combo feature which came with 5 different perks to mix and match.
Slot Design
Immortal Romance: Sarah’s Secret Power Combo has the standard 5×3 gameboard with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.50%, the volatility is set to HIGH and the hit rate is 28.86%.
The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 50.00$, with the max win capped at 5,000x.
As we have said in previous reviews of Stormcraft slots, we would like to see this menu reworked with all possible bets listed. Many studios have already transitioned to that style, allowing players to select their desired wager with a single click.
Again in the settings menu, we would like to see the Sound option split into background sounds and music, with perhaps some volume sliders. We really loved the new Nocturne theme, and would’ve liked to mute the background sound and only had the music on.
Overall the UI looks improved, the images seem sharper and the animations are awesome. The attention to detail is off the charts on this slot, where even the spin button acts as a visual equalizer, representing the music currently playing.
Slot Features
- Wilds: The Wilds in the slot substitute for all symbols but bonus symbols. They can land on any reel and they can show up stacked.
During base gameplay, this is what the player would be looking for as this is where the bigger wins show up. However the Link&Win triggers is what everyone would be after.
- Wild Desires: This is a purchase only feature, which costs 100x and opens up the max limit to 10,000x, with a 1024 paylines.
The feature starts on a 5×4 gameboard, where the end goal is to land as many full reel Wilds as possible.
Because landing only wilds is very highly unlikely, the goal here is to land 2 or 3 wild reels and a high paying symbol like Sarah herself.
This is where you make a profit, but just know it’s quite rare. We gave this feature a shot over 17 times and managed to break even twice, so thread carefully.
- Link & Win Feature: The trigger in this slot is not free spins but Link&Win feature. It starts with 3 respins where every prize that lands gets locked and the spins reset back to 3. The prize symbols can be cash or one of the 4 jackpots: Mini 10x; Minor 20x; Maxi 100x. The Mega Jackpot 5,000x is awarded if you fill all 15 positions.
The feature starts with showing which of the 5 perks are active. The perks are Supernova: where a symbol collects the sum of all eligible prizes; Barrage: where a symbol adds value to all eligible prizes; Surge: adds a symbol that increments its value on every spin; Magnify: applies a random multiplier between 2x and 5x on each spin and Twin Flames: awards a double Link&Win where each one spins individually.
This is our Twin/Surge trigger where we managed to land a Mini jackpot as surge symbol and it started raising the jackpot’s original value. That’s the symbol on the bottom left of the top array that shows 129.00. It was a pleasant surprise that jackpots can land as surge symbols and get boosted as well.
Triggering the feature from Sarah’s symbol guarantees a random number of perks active between 2 and 5.
- Power Combo: This is a power combo slot, meaning that all 5 different perks can be triggered in any combination of 2, 3, 4 and 5.
More often than not, the player will have triggered 1 or 2 perks like here we have the Barrage feature which will add that 30.00 to all existing prizes and Surge, which is the blue symbol that will keep on rising for the remainder of the feature.
This is another trigger with Magnify and Barrage. What was interesting that the multiplier also applied to the Barrage special symbol. In addition the multiplier was applied to the jackpot symbol that we landed afterwards as well. The payout for this specific trigger was roughly a 100x, while most other triggers were between 30x and 55x, so pretty decent.
Verdict
Immortal Romance: Sarah’s Secret Power Combo comes with its pluses and minuses, but we did enjoy the slot and the music was just wow.
So the negatives, compared to Immortal Romance II, are that the max prize went down from 15,000x to 5,000x, the Wild Desire feature became a buy only feature, but in this slot it has a 10,000x winning potential for a 100x cost.
The goods? Instead of free spins we get Link&Win feature with very generous perks, improved visuals and animations, remastered theme music.
The trigger rate of this slot is so good, it actually annoyed us trying to unlock Sarah’s Theme Song after a 1000 spins, as Link&Win kept triggering and triggering.
This is a worthy new slot from the Immortal Romance franchise, which we recommend that you give a shot as we loved it, expected to hit the casinos in 2026, but currently Yukon Gold Casino, Canada’s Top online casino has it exclusively in its library.
