This is an Asian themed slot, released around the Chinese new year, where players can spin the reels and bonus wheels for a max prize up to 2,000x.

Kong Fu has a bigger 6×4 gameboard with 6 reels, 4 rows and 4096 payways which in a feature can expand up to 46,656.

The RTP of the slot is 96.00%, the volatility is set to MEDIUM and the hit rate is not mentioned.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.25$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 12.50$, making the slot more towards those looking for low wagering slots.

The UI is identical to most other RTG slots, where there’s no real bet menu, but adjusting buttons next to the spin button, a max bet button on the right and quick spins button on the left.

The settings menu is located on the bottom right, where you can turn off the music or sounds or both, as well as set the spacebar as a hotkey to spin.

Overall the slot looks like almost every other RTG slot, with well designed symbols, well done animations, but the board of this one is just bigger.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The wilds in this slot are the Kong’s symbol, which substitute for all symbols but scatters.

During our testing this symbol showed quite often, and depending on the combinations it can bring decent payouts of 5-15x on a single spin.

• Master Takeover Feature: This feature can randomly trigger during base game. The gameboard will expand to 6×5 or 6×6 and the paylines can go up to 15,625 or 46,656 respectively. During this feature, randomly selected major symbol will replace other all other major symbols.

Once the master is chosen everything depends on how many high symbols have landed on the given spin. The more the better but during this trigger we did not see anything at all. Overall this feature is quite rare perhaps once every hundred spins but one of the triggers did land us roughly 50x payout.

• Bursting Wilds Feature: This feature can trigger randomly during the base game. When the Kong shows up it will transform a random number of symbol into wilds.

This feature is hard to come by and it will take dozen of spins before you see it.

• Bonus Wheel Feature: Landing 3 or more bonus symbols (scatters), will trigger the wheel.

The wheel has a jackpot of a 1,000x, a 10x cash prize and several variations of free spins from 6 free spins up to 15 free spins. The outer layer of the wheel shows whether the spins will be played on 6×5, 6×4 or 6×6 gameboard.

• Free Spins: If you land free spins from the bonus wheel, the feature will start immediately. Landing 3 additional bonus symbols will grant an additional 10 free spins.

The free spins can be in the regular board, a 6×5 board or the max 6×6 board. The payouts are usually around 15-50x, but this feature is hard to come by. For over a thousand spins, we saw the free spins perhaps twice or three times.

Verdict

RTG went for the Asian theme on this one, as it can be seen from the backgrounds and music.

The slot however doesn’t really offer that much, a few base game features and free spins.

Compared to the Asian themed slot they released in 2023, Mighty Drums this one is just good looks and nothing else.
