The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches only 20.00$, making this slot perfect for those looking for low wagering slots.

While the slot has the typical menu and navigation for RTG games, it has been themed as well to blend in better.

The payline menu is on the bottom left, while the options are on the bottom right where you can turn off sounds, music or even both.

There’s a quick spin option, the wager menu with + and – buttons, the max bet button and the autoplay button, basically everything a player needs.

The animations are awesome, the symbols that form a winning combinations are destroyed and turn into water bubbles while the cascading multiplier up top increases and is also animated.

The adventuristic music, the sounds and these animations do give the slot the feeling of being in an under water world.

Perhaps RTG could have made the background animated, to make the slot appear even nicer.

Slot Features

• Seaquake Cascading Wins: This feature activates on every spin, where there is a winning combination. The winning symbols dissolve as bubbles and new ones take their place. There’s a pulsing animation and sound for a few seconds when this occurs.

The golden border shows which symbols have formed a winning combo and will be replaced by new ones. The new symbols come from above and this will continue until there’s no winning combination. This is essentially what we know as Rolling Reels™ on Microgaming slots.

• Free Spins: When 3 scatters land on the gameboard, 10 free spins are awarded to the player, but all paylines that contain 3 scatters also award 10 free spins. The feature starts right away and can be retriggered.

As you can see we triggered a total of 20 free spins, as we had a total of 3 scatters, which also appeared on a payline as well. During our test we managed to win a total of 817.00$ on a 20.00$ per spin bet so roughly 41x.

This was the second time we triggered the feature, but the first time we only received 10 free spins, which paid off around 360.00$.

• Seaquake Multiplier Feature: This feature is active during all spins. Depending on the game mode, either base game or free spins, the values are different.

On this picture we are on the 2nd Seaquake Cascade, and therefore a x3 multiplier. Once a non-winning spin occurs, the multiplier is reset back to x1 in base game and back to x3 in free spins.

Verdict

Masks of Atlantis is one of the best looking RTG slots, with some very nice features.

The slot offers, consecutive win multipliers, as well as cascading reels, where winning symbols disappear and the ones above drop in, with a chance to form additional wins.

In addition the player gets free spins for 3 landed scatters, plus 10 additional free spins per 3 scatters on a payline.

Overall we were happy with the slot and have included a free to play demo inside this review as well for anyone to try it for free.

The only downside is probably the ticking time it takes for the winning symbols to dissolve, it looks cool in the beginning, but it gets annoying really fast.
