If the slot looks familiar, this is because it’s a reskin of the Anvil & Ores Slot, released two months ago, that had a lot of traction and popularity.
Slot Design
Red Hot Riches online slot is using the same gameboard as Anvil & Ores Slot, consisting of 5 reels, 5 rows and 3125 paylines.
The slot’s RTP is 96.25% (a 0.01% difference) and its volatility is set to HIGH.
The slot’s minimum bet starts from 0.30$, while the maximum bet reaches 42.00$, making the slot ideal for almost all players out there.
The bet menu allows you to either pick a bet preset, or to use + and – buttons under the Advanced tab, and adjust your wager from there.
In terms of UI and visuals the slot is identical to the original Anvil & Ores Slot, with just different symbols.
The overall execution is pretty good, and if you haven’t played the original slot, this one would have feel great.
Slot Features
- Rolling Reels: This feature triggers when the player lands a winning combination. Winning symbols are removed and new ones take their place with a chance to form consecutive wins.
This feature triggers quite often, so you would see it more often than not. Consecutive wins in base game have no effect on your winnings, but in free spins they increase your line multiplier with 1x for the duration of the free spins. Depending on the upsizer limit, the max multiplier can be 10x, 20x or 50x.
- Echo Roll: After any win, the game can trigger this feature for a guaranteed winning spin.
This feature triggers frequently, perhaps once every 7 to 12 spins. The winning positions can be filled with low, high or wild symbols. On many occasions we received back to back triggers.
- Upsizer: During the base game, upsizer symbols landing on the gameboard are collected and will contribute towards the meter on the left. The more you collect the better upsizer you will receive once free spins trigger.
On this screenshot, we have already collected a total of 14 upsizer symbols, and have climbed to 7 free spins and 10x multiplier for the next free spins trigger.
- Upsizer Buy Option: Once the free spins trigger, you will be presented with an Upsizer buy option where for a calculated cost you will be able to upgrade your upsizer.
The range of the cost varies anywhere from 12x to 142.5x and this varies depending on how far during the base game your upsizer has went.
- Free Spins: Landing 3 scatters during base game triggers the free spins, which can be anywhere from 6 to 12 depending on your upsizer.
Our free spins were triggered with an upsizer of 8 free spins and a max multiplier of 10x. We did not upgrade it and went with the free option. During our free spins we landed 6 additional scatters which gave us +1 extra spin each and we reached the max multiplier for roughly 6 spins. Our total payout was 507.00$ or roughly 50x.
Once the free spins have concluded, the slot offers a Wheel to help you get your next upsizer up to a higher level with up to 150 coins contribution, with the minimum of 10, which is what we landed. The free spins contributed to 1/5 Upsizer Max which you will see on the right after your first trigger. Once you collect 5/5 you will trigger free spins at max level.
Verdict
Red Hot Riches in a wonderful slot, if you haven’t played the original Anvil & Ore Slot, otherwise it will feel probably worse.
Why? Because the game has less than the original, which besides all features offered a buy free spins option, which this game doesn’t have.
However it still offers literally everything else, like Rolling Reels, Echo Rolls, lucrative Free Spins, an Upsizer, option to upgrade your Upsizer and a max prize of up to 5,000x the stake.
