Samba Jackpots online slot has the standard 5×3 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 3 rows and 40 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.00% and its variance is set to MEDIUM.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.40$, while the maximum bet reaches 40.00$, one of the highest for RTG slots we’ve ever seen, making this game ideal for almost every player.

As usual, there’s no real bet menu, you can simply adjust the bet from the + and – buttons around the Spin button, but there’s a max bet button.

There are quick spins option, represented by 2 lightning icons, and an Autoplay feature allowing you to select up to 100 spins or until a feature is hit.

From the menu on the bottom right, the player can select various settings, which are all identical in most RTG slots, and it’s the music and sound options, as well as using the spacebar to spin.

On the left side of the gameboard, you would see the instant cash prizes, which will be awarded instantly upon landing the correspondent number of masks, starting from 3 which award 1x, up to 12 which award 1,250x.

Slot Features

• Wilds: The wild in this game, can substitute for all symbols but scatters and coin symbols.

This can get you a nice 5 of a kind combo, which we kept seeing during our testing, so it’s not uncommon.

• Wild Reels Feature: When a full stack of Green Garota (the dancer symbol) appear on the reels, the reel is held in place and the remaining reels re-spin. If any other reel turns wild, the same thing is done, and another re-spin is awarded. This feature happens more often during free spins.

We expected this to trigger quite rarely, but it actually shows up quite often, which is nice, but rarely did we get any winnings at all.

• Quick Hit Jackpot Feature: This feature is identical to the EpicStrike feature we see in Microgaming slots. When you land anywhere between 3 – 12 gold coins, the corresponding prize is instantly awarded. The prizes are displayed on the left side of the gameboard, starting from 1x for 3 coins and reaching 1,250x for 12 coins. This occurs more often during free spins.

You would see these coins trigger a cash price, around every 50 spins, but don’t expect to see anything huge. In around a thousand spins the highest we saw was 7 which is still pretty nice considering it’s an instant 100x payout.

• Free Spins: During the base game, 3 or more scatters award 10 free spins. The aforementioned features above can be triggered more often during the free spins.

After almost a thousand spins we managed to trigger free spins and got a 24x payout, so nothing big at all. We are not quite sure why this feature was made to be so rare when it offers nothing besides just 10 free spins, with supposedly higher chance for instant cash prize and wild reels, from which we saw none.

Verdict

We are glad to see RTG implementing some features that have been on the market for years.

The slot has MEDIUM volatility, and a max prize of up to 1,250x which at max bet is 50,000$.

The maximum bet at 40.00$ is also something quite high for RTG slots, so these are all good changes.

Overall, it offers similar experience to the EpicStrike Microgaming slots, but now finally available for the US market at Roaring 21 Casino.
