Shellastic Wins! has a bigger 6×5 gameboard, with 6 reels and 5 rows, and all symbols pay anywhere on the board.

The slot’s RTP is 96.00%, the volatility is MEDIUM and the hit rate is undisclosed.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet reaches 20.00$, a range used in a lot of the RTG’s slots.

There’s no bet menu like in any previous RTG slot, but a few buttons on the gameboard where you can adjust the wager with an addition to the max bet button.

The settings menu is accessible from the bottom right, where you’d find music and sound options and a keybind for the spin button on spacebar.

Overall everything is the same in terms of UI, the symbols are decent, the music has that Caribbean vibe and matches the theme nicely.

Slot Features

• Cascading Wins: When a winning combination occurs, the winning symbols are destroyed and new ones take their place. This continues until no winning combinations are present on the board.

The new symbols may award new wins, therefore you can get multiple wins on a single spins, which is the case most of the time.

• Free Spins: When 4 scatters show up on the gameboard, 10 free spins are triggered. During the free spins a multiplier symbol shows up that will be used to multiply the collected cascading wins.

There can be multiple multipliers which are added up and then multiply the amount that was collected from the cascading win. Our payout on this trigger was around 42x.

• Bonus Bet Feature: When this feature is activated from the purple button on the left side of the gameboard, more scatters are added on the reels for a higher chance to trigger free spins. The bet is increased by 25%

The only visible que that this feature is on is the glowing purple button, and the 25% on the bet numbers, but other than that it’s hard to tell whether the feature is on or off as there’s no indicator on the gameboard at all. However when this feature is turned ON, you cannot click on the Buy Feature, which is another visual indicator.

• Buy Feature: If the player does not wish to wait for the free spins to trigger, they can simply purchase them for a 100x cost.

We bought the free spins several times and never came close to even breaking even on that 100x, so we would not recommend this feature.

Verdict

Shellastic Wins! offers a different gameplay experience compared to the most recent RTG slots.

Identical symbols pay at any position and cascading wins replace the winning symbols with new ones giving you a chance to get consecutive wins on a single spin.

In terms of the features, free spins is the only one, with decent multipliers on the consecutive winnings.

The buy feature however and the bonus feature were pretty disappointing as we never managed to trigger anything from the extra scatter which came with a 25% bet increase cost.

The buy feature offers free spins at a 100x cost but we never got close to even breaking even from several buys.

We’ve included a demo in this review so anyone can play and test the game for themselves.

Overall it’s a step up in the right direction, but RTG needs to make sure the features the slot offers are worthwhile to the players.
