As the name suggests, this is another fishing themed slot, inviting players to spin the reels for prizes and a grand jackpot of 5,000x the bet.

Fishing Fever Bass King online slot has a slightly bigger 5×5 gameboard, consisting of 5 reels, 5 rows and 40 fixed paylines.

The slot’s RTP is 96.00% and its variance is set to HIGH.

The minimum bet per spin starts from 0.20$, while the maximum bet per spin reaches 50.00$, making this slot ideal for a wide range of players.

Though the slot allows us to change the bet from the gameboard, and even has a Max Bet button also on the gameboard, there’s a bet menu button as well.

The menu also has a min bet and max bet buttons, and bet presets that are almost all of the bets available in the game, the only ones missing are 0.40$ and 0.80$, which makes us question why they didn’t include them in the presets.

The settings menu available from the hamburger menu on the bottom right, allows players to mute the sound and music separately, gives Quick Spin and Turbo Spin options, also available on the gameboard, which is the lightning arrow button.

Overall the UI and menus are well done, but the symbols and background are nothing special, in fact we have reviewed other fishing themed slots, that have much better graphics. (check Fishing Deeper Floats of Cash Slot).

The Autoplay feature is also present, allowing players to pick up to a 100 spins to be on autoplay, instead of manually spinning the reels.

Slot Features

• Fishing Fever Jackpot: The jackpot symbol appears on reels 1-4 and with combination of any collect, respin collect or multi collect symbol, triggers the Fishing Fever jackpot feature. Pick the golden lures to reveal Grand (5,000x), Major (500x), Minor (100x) or Mini (50x) jackpot.

This feature triggers VERY rarely, as we spent over 800 spins before we saw it and triggered free spins over 9 times as well.

Unfortunately after all that wait, we did not manage to get anything higher than the Mini 50x jackpot.

• Instant Collect Feature: Golden lures can appear anywhere on reels 1-4 and with combination of one of the collect symbols the player will win the prizes on the screen with different perks.

The Respin Collect symbols may increase the total number of golden lures, as the respin has a chance to put more golden lures. Once the respin occurs all of the prizes on the board are collected. This is the most consistent and profitable collect symbol, unless the multi collect lands a lot of lures and a 5x multiplier.

The Multi Collect, randomly picks a multiplier up to 5x and can multiply the golden lure amounts. Once the multiplier is chosen, all of the values are multiplied by it and then collected. Has the potential to be the the highest paying collect symbol if enough lures are present and the multiplier is something more than 2x.

The Regular Collect simply bags all of the cash values of the golden lures.

• Free Spins: Landing 3 scatters, grants the player 8 free spins. During this feature, additional golden lures, jackpot and collect symbols are added for more chances to win.

During the free spins, we saw the collect feature 4 times, so indeed the golden lures and collect symbols are a lot more.

At the end of the 8th free spins, we had a total payout of 78x, and most of the winnings came from the collect feature.

• Wilds: The wilds in this slot substitute for all symbols but jackpot, collect and golden lure symbols.

The wilds attribute to winnings quite often, so you will encounter this symbol almost all the time.

Verdict

Fishing Fever Bass King is another fishing themed slot, with a few features, average graphics and a max prize of 5,000x the bet.

Though the jackpots look lucrative, they trigger very very rarely to the point a player will most likely NOT see them for hours.

The free spins however trigger quite often and offer higher chances to trigger the jackpot feature, as well as the collect feature.

Overall we feel like these features did not go well with the high volatility of the slot, and gave it that unrewarding feeling, despite the fact that after 800 spins we were in the positive.
